Ppms too high for harvest?

I actually have had harsh chemical smoke from some buds I got from a dispensary but a lot of factors could be into play. Look I was just trying to figure something out and learn, these are my first plants of ever trying to grow anything at all. What’s the need to come down so hard on someone trying to learn?
Sorry of it was sounding like we was harshing at you, never was the intention. We all have our lil ways of doing it and we all get them plants that make us question what we're doing.

LOL!
Dude! I'm not coming down hard on you? I'm not that way. If I was coming down hard on you, you would know it. LOL! I don't see where you can draw that conclusion.

I was just asking you a slightly loaded question. LOL!

Yes, as a matter of fact I do fertigate 2 hours before I harvest at the end of the day. I add molasses once a week the last two weeks prior to harvest. The plants stop sending exudates to the roots to encourage additional nutrient production in the last two weeks in order to send ALL of the energy the plant produces to the buds. By feeding the microbes in the root system some carbohydrates they remain in high production providing all the nutrients the plant can use to fatten the buds.

The theory from Harley Smith is that at the end of the day the plant has a full store of energy and the plant begins drying better in a full energy state. It is a proven scientific fact that flushing removes absolutely no nutrients from the plant - period. Tissue samples remain identical from plants flushed vs not flushed.

That said there may be an unquantifiable change in plants that are flushed. This possibility exists because so many peeps believe there is a difference. I do not.
Bingo!

i just read the "water cure" sticky. if everyone is so interested in getting rid of stuff inside your plant, why not use the water cure??
iv seen the water cure thing before and seems like complete madness to me id love to hear someone who knows the science if any thats behind it

diffusion
surely it would only remove anything that is water soluble on the surface i dont see how it would leach anything out of the inner structure of the bud for the lack of better words but like i said i know nothing about the subject

Obsessive–compulsive disorder is a mental disorder in which a person has certain thoughts repeatedly or feels the need to perform certain routines repeatedly to an extent which generates distress or impairs general functioning. The person is unable to control either the thoughts or activities for more than a short period of time.
perhaps mental illness is a component
Exactly "what" do you think is "in" the plant that you want to get "out"?

thc lol. settle down, i'm on your side. i merely suggest that those incurable "flushers" try water cure if they are really interested in removing "stuffs" from their plant
i also suggest that some among this population might have ocd
No settling down needed bro, just a simple question.
What I meant was what "bad stuff" are you or others trying to remove by flushing?

i don't think we are communicating very well. i'm not the flushing spokesman... i don't know specifically how each individual rationalizes their choice to flush. i personally, do not flush and never have
Cool! It's all good! I've never understood what people were trying to get rid of by doing it. Just never made sense to me.
