so im after some help in reading my runoffs PPM. you can check my grow journal in my sig im having some issues with my girls, also posted in infirmary but im just after some general advice on PPM in soil runnoff.

my last feed was at 1100PPM, i checked them this morning they have all drank nearly 600ml each, so i have run 1L of plain water (i've been doing feed/water/feed/water)

i tested the runoff since i dont often get runnoff in this air pots with anything under 500ml, and its around 230-300PPM across all my plants. my tap water PPM is 130PPM PH around 7.

my meter is HMS digital using 0.5 conversion rate for EC.

so does this mean they need more feed? from my understanding PPM should be around the same or a little less, not almost 1000 less. or should i not take much out of this reading as it was done with runnoff from plain water and not from feed?

It's a little low for sure. You may need to switch up your feed schedule. Like do feed/feed/plain water maybe, or increase the nutes if you continue feed/water.

I mainly went back to feed/water cause we still were not sure if the issues I was having were from deficiency or toxicity, so figured it would be better. But yeah I'll test tomorrow run-off after a feed and if they are still eating alot I'll up it again. Just wasn't sure if it was correct to read ppm like this.
