Indoor Powerful's closet grow

honestly ill have to go and look but i dont think so.. i use peat moss Promix.. it has perlite i add vermiculite.. worm castings.. small amount of organic potting mix.. other than that nothing added to the soil..
The organic potting mix probably has sources of calcium and magnesium that won't be "immediately" available. It may have soft phosphates. You should check.

yeah i guess so lol..i think if its lacking in the feed or water that calmag and mammoth P should take care of it?
It depends! If your medium has not yet available sources in it, and you use calcium nitrate (this is N btw ) your plant will begin uptake of the calcium within days as it is in a consumable form for her already. Then you can increase or continue as needed.

If your medium has sources and you start adding more now that is not in the N form, I'd imagine it'll be a bit longer before she gets any at all, and then what you have in your pot and what you've been adding is going to be available all at once.. possibly causing an overdose. Possibly messing up the phosphates?

dolomitic calcitic limestone are the only other ingredients other than peat moss in the Promix.. worm casting says nothing on the bag.. and the potting soil definetely has some stuff in it but all it says is a little N on the bag..

That's a source of Cal/ mag. Does it list the ingredients and percentages?

Hmm.. so basically what your saying is, i should give them a dose of reg nutes first and then add in later? or maybe not at all? the mammoth P and Calmag i mean..

Like this.

it says that 75-85% of the medium is Peat moss but thats it..

so i guess the other 15% would be a mix of Vermiculite,Perlite and the dolomitic and calcitic limestone would make up the rest i guess.... wish they would tell u exactly..
