Hi Guys,
i was wondering,do you re-pot or start in final pots? I'm thinking about going straight into 10 L pots, start to finish,or MAYBE use the Tier re-pot method, cant decide???? Whats best? What do you do?
Cheers Guys.

:2cents::smokebuds:I personaly put the germed seed directly into the final pot.You can start them in peat pots or peat pucks and then into the final pots. Some use the tier method but i personaly like the germed to final pot method.:2cents:

I agree with Namvet 100% i germ my seeds then straight into my 10l pots i dont see why alot of people start in a small cup first. let my girls have a stress free ride no transplant. Altho some mite say putting a seed directly into a 10l pot might suffercate it i dont think it will.
Saying that some might start in a small cup with a lighter mix so its not too hot for there seedlings. I dont have this problem as i use bio bizz light mix wooohooo :peace: Si

I put seeds into Root Riots in the final pot. they seem to love it, and no need to mess about with cups or transplanting. :peace: Hazy

Thanks for the info Guys.
To be honest,i prefer, like most,to avoid as much messing around as possible. My idea is,go straight into 10L Air pots, some say they're to big??? Also,i want to go straight into BioBizz All Mix,again, some say this is too hot for seedlings, however,i have seen loads of threads where Guy's say they have gone straight into AllMix with no probs???? Also The AllMix will keep the seedlings going for about 4 Weeks before i have too add Nutes,as opposed to Lightmix???
Cheers Guys

If they are using the tiered potting - it helps cutdown on costs a bit as usually they will only tier the females, while kill off the males. Tiered potting when done correctly shouldn't cause any stress. Normal transplanting can cause stress & unfortunately a lot of new growers screw it up. If you have the space & money - starting them in the final containers is the best way.

oh i get it now i wonderd why they use them

I plant mine right into the final pot's I find personally I get better results that way.

after the fiasco i created with solo cups, i am switching to direct to big pot as well it doe's cost more, it will force me to use auto fem seeds only!:peace:

This works for me...Fill final pot with good soil mix. I make a hole in the middle of the top soil. Pour quality seedling mix in hole(about width and depth of a solo cup) and plant seed in wet seedling mix.
Also I plant 2-3 seeds spaced in the middle of pot and keep only the best one. No transplanting then required and roots grow through seedling mix and enjoy light fertilized soil around week 3.

Thanks for the info Guys.
Also,i want to go straight into BioBizz All Mix,again, some say this is too hot for seedlings, however,i have seen loads of threads where Guy's say they have gone straight into AllMix with no probs????

Yeah mine went straight into All-Mix and they've done fine - four days from cutting them :booya: I germed by soaking and then paper towel.
