I'm thinking using a DIY valve I built already, connected to one of my 10 gallon auto pot imitations....lol. I'm currently using a 10 gallon bottom watered pot for my Blue Dragon thats working quite well. I have a 50 gallon collapsible barrel that I'll be using in the greenhouse. I hope to automate all the watering in the greenhouse. I may use Aqua valves or maybe even their watering mats in trays to bottom water all pots. I may try wicks also.

I had great luck with living soil in sips last summer. Loved not having to pay as close attention to when it needs water. Make sure the reservoir has water and your good to go..... Mulch is important tho.
