Outdoor Pop22's 2016 Greenhouse Grows

I think i'm gonna get some thing like that for next year's veggie garden.. Definitely a great idea!!!! How's everything coming along??

Got a lot of pics to take today, things are looking great! got to check buds this morning, its the first day in three days it hasn't rained..... hoping no bud rot.........

I'm looking at a pump for pressure to run drippers in the greenhouse, I think that will be the simplest solution for now. This fall I plant to build trays and use Aqua Valves from Auto Pots for a gravity feed system for reliability.

Update:

what a difference just three days can make! BOOM! All plant show good growth even after three cloudy-rainy day! I've lost count of the number of tomatoes and blossoms on my rootball tomato. Last count was 40 tomatoes and that was 5 days ago............

Blue Dragon transplants have been growing well since the day after transplant. Once again, proper transplant technique shows you can transplant autos or any plant without the usual stall that last 2-5 days. My transplants often show growth within 12 hours!

Dragon Blood are building nice buds looks like maybe 3-4 more weeks to finish. The Double Bubbly is only maybe 12" tall but her buds are big in comparison and rock hard! This is the first one I've had sucess with, last year bud rot ruined them all. I can't wait to vape/smoke some!

The Ice Cool have me debating shutting down the Kind Soil grow, both are extremely mutated, they are some of the weirdest canna plants I've seen!
Seems my luck with Sweet Seeds is hit or miss. Trainwreck and my photo period Green Poison have been some of the best plants I've grown, but these Ice Cool and a Red Poison have been horrible mutants. The red poison got 28" tall and gave me 5 grams of bud......... debating wasting time and space with these.

My Dragon Kush looks wonderful! And I've got 2 seed mommas in a closet indoors that have just been pollinated. The Dragon Kush seed I planted were the last 6 I had, I had my fingers crossed I'd get both male and female plants! So barring problems, it look like I saved my strain! Dragon Kush is

Durrty Dragon x KVS ( early KVS, they were know to be potent little plants before Stitch fucked around with his genetics ). The first gen were wicked potent, they could knock you down but good!

I'll get another pic of the Auto Ultimate. She's doing great! Colas are building fast now, hoping for a mid August harvest.

Lots of pics!

Actually, watering is not too bad. It is a bit of a hassle but saves me from lifting. i have a 50 gallon collapsible water barrel in there with a valve and a hose. I make and treat RO water in 5 gallon buckets. The only lifting i do is from the floor to the wagon. I bring te wagon in the house load my buckets and take them to the greenhouse. I have a small pump I used for DWC. I pymp the water from the buckets to the barrel. Right now, I use about 35 gallons a week. I'm currently adding about 20% tap water to reduce RO waste. so when I water I just use the hose!
good system, takes the load off the body, I'm pumping water with a surflo pump 400' from the overflow channel to the garden, summer is easy, winter water is another story

Was going to take bud shots in the greenhouse with my camera, but damn battery was dead! I'll get some in a bit.

Bud Porn coming!

So I've finally decided on how to automate the greenhouse, I'm going to go with drippers. I'll use low flow drippers and a 24V. pump, and pressure regulator. I've got a 6 station water timer with 24V outputs. I need to get things so that if something happened to me, my lady could at least get thru a season without my help. In fact, I'll be starting a thread soon on teaching my lady to grow. She's taken an inerest and we then discussed exact these things. Cannabis is vital to her treating her MS. And we proven missing a dose or two shows and decrease in mobility and more noticeable pain. She takes three canna caps a day, my extra strength ones....... but her MS seems to have been arrested for 2 1/2 years because of cannabis!

And eventually, I have to have another rotator cuff surgery............ shit.....

Greenhouse is looking really good!!! Have you looked at the Blumat's for automating the watering? On my first grow with 'em now and so far they are working great. Little more like the Autovalves in that they go off how dry the pot/medium is so will increase/decrease as needed based on conditions and how much the plant(s) are drinking. Sounds like you're pretty set with the drippers, but figgured I'd toss it out there in case you're still on the fence and want another alternative to look at.

That's great news about your wife!!! Shitty news about the RC... Unfortunately, I'm a retarded move away from tearing my labrum in my right shoulder, which was originally injured in a motorcycle accident back in 2010.. I didn't need surgery then, but it was bad enough I couldn't lift my arm over my head for over a year, and even then, the road to recovery sucked.. It's why I don't lift heavy anymore.. Hopefully your prognosis is good, though!!

Cost sent me to drippers. Blumats looked good, but enough drippers and system were $200 cheaper.
