Welcome aboard!! Glad you are here. I will be looking into an LED setup soon and am very interested in your products. I can't wait to see them in action. Just wish LED's weren't so expensive but I understand they save you $$ in the long run.

We can't thank AFN enough for getting us the opportunity to showcase our lights and give us a fair and honest evaluation. We are happy to get feedback from veteran growers like yourselves and look forward to continuing to work with your organization. Please let us know if we can answer any questions or be of any additional service. Keep on growing the dream my friends!

How does your light stack up to advanced LEDs.I have two DS 200s 185 watts out of the wall, full spectrum.I love my advanced lights.I am in the market for another lamp.It would take a really good lamp for me to change my mind.I,m very interested in ATRAINs trial.I like your switch placement, very convenient .The DS you have to reach on top of the lamp, not very handy sometimes.Your lamps look like the advanced ,are you associated in any way.Peace

Hi Robbio. Thanks for your question. Platinum LED is not affiliated with Advanced LED in any way. The LED case may look similar to Advanced Light's LED, but the drivers, diodes, lens and diodes nm ranges are different. We don't really have an apples to apples comparison in terms of wattage for (2) DS 200s. Our p450 which would probably be that best comparison uses 150 x 3w diodes (450w total) and pulls 392w total from the wall.

Our focus was on providing the best spectrum available to plants with the highest par-per-watt output we could deliver. We found we got the best par output out of the 3w diodes.

We are very much looking forward to the results of ATRAINS trial. Results don't lie! Thanks for considering our LED and let us know if we could be of any further service.

Cheers, Tom
