Hash me about LEDs.
Buying an original lowryder was sweet. No matter what, the lineage is important and should be well documented for any breeding project - no matter the scale. Obviously strains developed for a certain market can't be immediately resold as F2s and you should be hesitant to advertise commercial strains as the immediate predecessors... But then as my first point states you seem to be heading towards a production run of your first strain. Make sure you get the right phenos to breed with. If you're going to be honest about the pedigree, you'll honor those who came before you buy doing the strains justice. I think you'll be well recieved if you did it honestly and I'm sure you're quite capable of developing your own custom (and might I add dank) canna. Just gotta it right somehow, ya know?
Whole heartily agree. The idea behind the mix was that it was to help noobs out and as well I thought it added a layer of secrecy of not disclosing what was in the mix. That way no one would really be able to do anything really with the beans other than grow them and smoke em.

Pollen that I had any dealings with In the last few months was my KVS. So I am assuming that's what hit everyone or one of the plants could've hermied?!?! Cause I thought I was extra careful with the kvs pollen.
So, lets NIX THE MIX SEED PACK! Pay It Forward Seeds will rise one day! It will start off with strains that are only original (my mishmash freaks ill keep to myself ) the rest of the projects will be well documented here on AFN. The idea will always be though to pay it forward so, on that note... Pay It Forward Seeds will have only genetics created by me.
See how this brainstorming works ideas are getting narrowed and more focused for me. :dance: thank you all for helping

I like the idea behind it Yoda and I try to do much the same. Except that part about paying for the next person in drive throughs order also. F those other fattys Imma make a run for it with both orders in hand!
I was taught to grow from some very kind people on here and still benifet from their experience. So I am working real hard on sowwing that knowledge into another mates brain(hes got acouple fresh Females on the go right now ) aswell as spredding the vibe for LEDs and push for the switch to Vaporizing.. people who have given into my strong arming, you know who you areEvil Laugh x Didn't have to push very hard but what they heck.

Got a feeling that's the answer, could be mistaken though.
Check out some "Strain Hunters" on youtube, their documentarys are interesting to see the plants/strains living/growing in nature and in the countrys they came from.

The Compassionate Bean Network...is a truly COMMENDABLE idea long due for many medical disenfranchised people.
Perhaps an overseas hosted and volunteer run website or BB much like this but on a manageable size basis.
Staffed by fellow med users and postage paid by suggested postage actual cost donations, made by the med user or perhaps gifted by a friend.
You might begin small without much more than a web page or anon e mail posted with a simple mission statement and e mail link.
Hell if anyone can relate I can, right now... Any decent auto would be a blessing as I sit here in a recently new apartment I cant afford the dealer just down the street ! and hardly food for that matter.
Yet like sooo many poor people I Need meds now, I (and many people like me) will have to wait out a stealth photo period grow before seeing another single toke !
That's very TOUGH when you need help now and fast ! The world can be a COLD DEPRESSING place.
Your idea is a ray of sunshine.
America is f*c*ed up, I was legal in CA , but my caretaker died leaving me broke, ill,and homeless for almost 5 months. But I ended up way down South across the country, where at last I have a roof again. But RX pot is still a dream in these parts!

This entire thread was nothing more than an idea I was brainstorming and to see if it would be possible to take off! I see the momentum is there and there is some interest. Its just to complicated of a thing to figure out, it may take quite a long while, and by than who knows laws may have changed. This thread was just to get everyones thoughts, nothing more, as it would NEVER EVER be possible, without the help from a seed bank, or a network of over sea volunteers. I have ALL the necessary things to make a a true photo to auto cross, that will be my focus, and than I can proceed with this idea. If sending the beans for free is never possible, I can see if any seed bank would carry my product, and I could just use any money made from that and donate it all back to NORML and other charities... Who knows the ideas are endless, I just know one day I want to help and give back in someway. Its like a fire inside of me I cant put out
So, thank you all for all the replies and interest. I will be starting a Pay It Forward Seeds thread where I will document everything from my lowryder grow out to the crosses and the progress along the way... this was nothing more than a seed that was planted and me asking for the best grow advice

Not to mention a Seedbanks Seeds being confiscated. .

The ruthless nature of capitalism is exascerbated in the black market. There is no way to copyright genetics, and there is very little honor left in our society anyway. Its unfortunate to think alot of these trailblazers are going to get fucked over in the long run. Its up to us to make sure these breeders who have done such great things are given the respect and credit they deserve for their tireless work. Because in the ruthless eyes of the business world, they will unfortunately become an expendable component of their value chain once they get the genetics developed enough to move forward on their own. You are already seeing it happen with their price gouging, and those trends never revert. Breeders should sincerely consider naming some of these strains after themselves, but they are probably too modest

There is a good model being used for Vegetables and other food crops.
It works like this;
You sell seeds in rich counties like the USA and UK.
Use the money to finance free seeds to 3rd world farmers
With information on how to grow and breed, plant selection and seed production and so on, with the goal of turning these farmers into seed producers that can provide Vegetables Seeds at a price that others 3rd world farmers can afford.
There is a good model being used for Vegetables and other food crops.
It works like this;
You sell seeds in rich counties like the USA and UK.
Use the money to finance free seeds to 3rd world farmers
With information on how to grow and breed, plant selection and seed production and so on, with the goal of turning these farmers into seed producers that can provide Vegetables Seeds at a price that others 3rd world farmers can afford.
