On a side not JD, i too have had stunting issues with ALF 3 in little pots. No matter what i do, they do not respond even to the tiered method.
the only way that i get size to ALF is start her and leave her the heck alone.... I think she is hell bent on having proper root room.
Day 29 and very tiny. I'm using iguana juice grow and bloom and I changed all the lights to 6500k seems I read on a thread here that for cfl and T5 not to use flowering lights for autos and before I had mostly flowering plants where big but poor flowering compared to what I've seen on here. Another change was I would PH my water to 6.5 and run off was still 7.5 give or take so I added 1/4 cup lime to a icecream pail and I think that was way to much I don't know but now all my plants are so tiny and not sure whats causing it I have one plant half this size and its almost on day 50 I don't even know if I'll get 1 joint from it lol. So I think I was a little to noob still for this contest but its fun anyways.
That is very interesting. I'll keep that in mind for future reference. This time, it is what it is, and I'm just having fun anyhow. But, next time I grow some, I'll probably multi-pot to cull the males. Thanks man!
Idk if this will help anyone or they have done this but...I found some rocks that were like 1 cm in size and made sure to fill the bottom of the cup with like an inch of rocks before i put my soil in. Idk if this like air prunes the roots inside or what but it might help a lil with root bounding slower than usual. Thank you evryone thought i would totally bomb since its the first time ive grown mj. Instead of taking credit for myself evryone that has said something should be taking the thanks for giving advice and the information to make sure evryone has a fighting chance to grow good herb. Your the reason haha I know I have bugged all of you with at least a few pms lol.
