Outdoor Strategies

Well that day or two could turn into a week or so if you added maybe 3 wine bottles a plant and dripped them very slow but enough to keep her going until you can get more water too her

maybe, but that would be a delicate dance. You'd have to balance the drip amount with how large the plant is and large plants can drink a lot in a day, way way over a gallon. For dwarf autos that could quite possibly add a week or more. It's definitely a good idea, take some pics if you do it so we can see!

Just a quick word to the wise, if you're planting outdoors and using you cell phone to take pictures make sure you're geotagging is OFF. Last thing you want to do is be telling everyone exactly where to find your plants and not even know it. :2cents:

Or just take the battery out of it, no mistakes! I forgot one time and had that fucker ring on me right when I was digging. I jumped straight up and almost shat my pants.

Hey Guys, This is my first year at growing outdoors, and luckily I have a greenhouse , at the moment I have two - Flying Skunk & Privada Sour Kush both growing nicely in a tomato grow bag, I'd had a few probs germinating other seeds but think I have it sussed now as I've got durrty dragons ( kindly donated) cotton candy, sweet bud No 2 and advanced auto mass biodiesel all hardening off ready to join the others in growbags. Also this week I've had a couple of power plants being donated from a friend who has had to shut down his indoor operation due to burglary- the bastards knicked his weed man, that is just plain wrong ! this should be interesting as they've come from a flow system and I'll try to transplant them, who knows? they may work. watch his space- Green Monkey

I just got done reading this whole thread in preparation for my outdoor grow this coming season and reading some posts about animal deterrents got me thinking...

Here's a natural and safe animal deterrent that you almost always have a little (or a lot) with you at all times: urine.

Urinate around the borders of your grow area every time you visit. Obviously it'll wash away, but when it is there, almost all animals won't like it. If they recognize what it is, they won't like...if it's unfamiliar to them, they won't like.

I find that if I'm hiking and hydrating myself properly, I can easily produce a lot of this deterrent.

gosh its this time of year again... Anyone plant in trees or use pulley systems and use a topsey turvey type thing or just buckets?

I'm a little surprised this thread isn't exploding this time of year..
