Mephisto Genetics Organic "Green Sea of Change" 6 MG strains always changing

Joke .... Brideg like in wanna buy the Brooklyn Bridge .... never was good at telling jokes ....

Nice to come home to surprises ..... I also scored open 50 lb bag / 45 lbs about for $82ish, organic certified horse feed ..... thrivline or something like that, same brand Coots mentions so I was pleased ..... feed store full of goodies including drip pans for one.

Peace,
OB
I thought a bridge might be some funky CO2 contraption :)

Not sure what a 'bridge' is.
I just don't sweat the little things, and they seem to work out just fine in the end. Some strains are a little fussier than others as well. Even with it eating itself, it still gonna be a doosy!

I was at the feed store yesterday and scored a 50# bag of kelp for $112, which is dirt cheap way up here. Its actually feed grade, and is a finer grade (smaller particle size) than what I get in 5# boxes. I only saved a few dollars (maybe $25, versus buying 10-5# boxes), but it beats running out, and a trip to anywhere is 80 miles round trip minimum, from where I live.

Scored 7 bags of lava rock at home cheapo for $1 bag ..... In the nursery dept there are deals, you just gotta ask ..... they even loaded the bags in my truck!

Good score! I think its spring sale time at the home type stores. Might be time to hop in the pickup and go get everything I think I might need for the year. I still have snow in the yard, so its hard to think too far ahead.

Snow will soon disappear but on a good weekday stop by some biz stores and maybe some good deals ..... Last fall a local grocery store had half pallet of 2.2 peat moss $4 bail ..... In my garden now!

I like to keep an eye out for the deals on 'composted chicken manure' and bark nuggets. I was just out working in the yard, I have tulips popping up in a spot where the snow is gone. Pretty early for Lat 61'.

I completed my 'Auto Livers" grow. Thanks @stan_mephisto and the gang for sharing this wonderful freebie.
She finished in 74 days. She grew to be 24" tall and about 20 inches wide. She didn't take much more room than the width of the 10 gallon pot.
The yield on this thing came out great for such a small plant. I ended up with 142 grams of dried and jarred nugs.
This was the 3rd round on this particular 'No-till' container. For those that don't know, with the no-till containers the soil isn't disturbed or tilled between rounds, ingredients and mulch are just applied to the surface. In the middle, the mulch is pulled back each round, where a 'patty' of fresh seed starter is placed. Usually an inch thick, placed on the original plug of seed starter from the very first round.
Here is a pic at harvest time. This is how she looked straight out of the grow room. She had some fade but grew great! Very easy grow.
Next, I clipped a bunch of leaves to make her pretty for the camera. She is one frosty girl. There is a frosty layer, and what I can only call the glue layer of frost. First she got frosty, then the glue came out at the end.
During the first 60 days, I staked all these lower branches down to get them to grow out like that. Then the lower branches all were tied up with Velcro for extra support about 2 weeks before harvest. With the lower branches, I have found that whether they 'need' the support or not, the buds seem to get fatter when tied up. (That trick is straight out of the tomato/ pepper grower's bag of tricks.)
Here is another nice side shot of the lower branches.
Even with what appears to be quite a bit of foliage, all the lower inside stuff finished just right and I ended up with virtually no popcorn or fluffy stuff on the inside. The buds are super dense, hard, and gooooey!
I have smoked some of this, its killer. The scent is kind of like fruity pebbles. The only MG strain that I have found that smells like it is Fugue State. They smell exactly the same and I love it. I will be curous to see how the scents and taste matures after a month or two in the jar.
I can't wait to see this strain in some more of the new ones in the future. I also think it would be a great stand alone strain as is, base on this grow.

A little smoke report/ update on Auto Livers.
After 2 1/2 weeks curing in jars, this stuff is incredible! I haven't gotten so high off of just a couple hits ever! I think this one is even stronger than Sour Stomper. Its a good get stuff done for a few hours high, but then a very calm and sedated come down after a few hours. Very similar to Sour Stomper with that respect. Like a smoke at 6 pm, and good and ready for bed at 10 pm kind of buzz. It still has a fruity smell, and some other undertones that I just can't quite pin down yet, maybe in another couple weeks I will be able to really pick out and describe the other smells and tastes.

Its time to post some pics of my Bubbasquanch I harvested. She went 80 days, and grew 37" tall. She yielded 205 grams of dried and jarred nugs. This was third no till cycle on this pot. Here is a full plant pic at harvest time.
This thing grew some just beautiful side branches that yielded wonderfully.
oh the frost, even down low!
As usual super easy plant to grow. Seems like any of these Sam's mixes are winners. I have never grown a bubba strain before, so I'm not sure what I should expect from that side of the gene pool. but she definitely has some fruitiness to her, with some complex undertones of lots of stuff. After some more cure time, I hope I get a little more bubba out her. I have a Hubbabbubbasmelloscope going for one of my summer crops, hopefully she will have a real bubba smell/ taste to her, and I can compare. I haven't smoked any yet, but I get the feeling she is smooth fire!

Ghost Toof complete and in jars! She went 77 days, she was 42" tall, and yielded 176 grams dried and jarred nugs. This was the 3rd round in this 10 gal no till container. The only thing I did to the container before this last cycle was add leaves on top. Here is a full plant pic. Very nice frost level.
The sides and mids on this grew out great.
Here is a nice close up of a side cola. She is just about to 'crown' or shoot a 'foxtail'. Super nice fat side colas!
Here is the very top cola, she just showed the start of a foxtail. Her way of telling me to kill her. I was actually going to pull her a few days earlier, but a lashing of frost started (possibly the 3rd), so I thought I would give her just a touch longer.

This particular structure of plant is my favorite to grow. I have grape walker kush that's a hanging with the same structure.
