I am amazed at how the super soil maintains a perfect ph of 7. I love the stuff, no feeding other than some black strap mollassws once in a while.

Cheers X..I've started drying and processing my eggshells..but the cuttlefish bones make a much softer powdery powder so I was thinking it may be absorbed easier...:cough:

That's interesting. The one thing I found different about it was that it degrades faster than eggshell or oyster shell. Don't worry about that though... it was like the eggshells took 35,000 years and the cuttlefish bone would only last like 30,000. :D

Hey guys, I mentioned a new humic acid product in the forum recently. The company that sells it is offering free 5lb samples on their website. I find the information the company provides intriguing but I haven't tried it myself yet. If you're interested, here's the link: http://andersonshumates.com/
Thanks TX, just saw this.
Thanks for mentioning it, and I just sent them a request.
Definitely sounds interesting and worth 'trying'.:D

:crying:..I'll live with that..mere blink of an eye in Dragon years..

See the difference between the ripped egg shell and the ripped cuttlefish..much finer powder.

i received a sample in the mail yesterday...instead of 5lb's it was 2oz. The info states that it's enough for a 6inch pot! It was free so can't complain right? Don't think i will get a fair assessment of their product with such a small sample though. i also noticed on their website that it doesn't mention the 5lb sample anymore, instead it pictures the one that i received. Thanks again to PhreedomMan and TesterX for passing the info along.
