Grow Mediums One Down Two to Grow

Thanks for the input. I placed a 4” bubble disc in the bottom of this pail and suspended the roots and about 2 inches of the pot into solution. @Nosias

Maybe you just accidentally invented a new way to grow! Start in autopots until root mass explodes from the bottom (and possibly purposely leave out root control discs to encourage explosion), then move to buckets with bubbler to finish it off.

Hahaha that would be cool..
Looking forward to the harvest to determine if I did leave that RC disc out of the pot. If I did, man what a stoner moment but part of the thinks I put it in there, so we will see.
Thanks for following along.

I was once reminded to leave the stoner out of the garden. Well I thought that was good advise. It is hard to do at times for myself as I am somewhat "dim" at times even when I have not smoked. Oh well, we all try. It just takes practice and experience. My motto is "No mistakes mean nothing has been learned".

Oh that is sound advice, no doubt.
I am a lifelong chronic user. I wake and bake daily regardless of the day ahead (work, doctor, see governor, etc) and approx every couple hours throughout the day. Especially now that I am supplying my own.
There is little chance I will ever be tending to my grow without some level of knob on my head

We grow and learn and if by chance I left it out or placed in upside down, we have seemingly overcome so all is well. I was just taking some pics without blink blurple so should have some pics up later. Thanks!!

Update GCA and BBA 1&2 December 21, 2017

Hey Gang! Just a little update and a suggestion that perhaps we start a UBOM (Ugliest Bud of the Month). My GCA could be a shoe-in. All three plants are on Bloom nutes with the only difference being, the BBA’s are still receiving Big Bud supplements and the GCA has moved on to Overdrive supplements as follws:

Sensi Bloom A&B 2.0ml/L, MagiCal 1.75ml/L, Terpinator 2.5ml/L, Hydroguard 2ml/gal, Big Bud/Overdrive 1ml/L and Bud Candy 2ml/L. I omitted the Pro Silicate for all plants about three weeks ago when I determined A) It was messing with my pH Perfect nutes and B) as a result of the pH fluctuations the silicate was clumping/solidifying with a tone of sediment that does not play well with autopots. Next grow I will use the advanced nutrients silicate supplement but I forget what it is.

GCA - Day 76 above coco
This gal has been through a lot. She went 3 days without water or nutes when I went out of town. She has been hauled in/out of the tent dozens of times. She blew her roots out of the pot/tray and had to be finished in a makeshift DWC. I think I am seeing some foxtails, not sure but buds are growing out of buds. My pistils are still 90% white and many are straight and my trichs are mostly milky with some amber on older sugar leaves. I present you the ugly buds, cat hair, burnt tips and all. Please comment and any input is welcomed, especially on ripeness lol

BBA1 Day 63 above coco
This young lady, despite being sick looking for weeks, continues to hold her own and appears to filling out nicely.

BBA2 Day 53 above coco
The life history of this plant has been fairly unremarkable. Out of an over abundance of caution and a desire to spare her whatever BBA1 had gone through, I radically transplanted her into fresh coco/perlite which I think is documented above, I don’t recall when I did it but she seems to have liked it and is quite crowded in the tent. I had planned to be harvesting GCA about now but that isn’t gonna happen for a few more weeks I don’t think.
