New Grower Ok, ive been debating it, but heres my 1st grow journal.

You're all good, no worries, mate. I'm not just trying to rack up my post count or something, I can assure you.

Not that you're arguing the matter at all, friend but as a matter of fact when I got promoted to Autoflower Expert a week or so ago, I PM'd TBM and asked him if he would change it back to Senior AFN Member, because I agreed to being helpful and knowledgeable and learning fast, but that I wouldn't say that I was an expert, Senior AFN Member made more sense to me. He said cool, he would leave my stats since I earned it but change the name. It didn't change however, not sure what happened, but I didn't feel the need to bother him again about the matter so I just left it.

Those smallest, littlest buds on the bottom aren't going to be getting any bigger. They might if you were able to concentrate light on them, but you said that's not an option. So what they are doing is causing the plant to use energy, no matter how large or small an amount, to keep those small flowers alive and healthy, but yet, not going anywhere.
If you remove them, the plant says, "Cool.", and re-allocates that energy up top to the buds up there. So instead of that energy being used on the bottom and going nowhere, it's producing calyxes and trichomes and all that other sweet MJ stuff on top. You don't have to throw them small buds away- just dry them and mix them in the grinder with some other buds.

thanks guys, I guess i will take some time and "very selectively" take some of the smaller foliage away. im nervous, but i guess there's only one way to learn! ill take some before and after pics later.

Hey growbe, I wasn't talking about leaves. I thought we were talking about small flowers. Sorry if I misunderstood. Leaves, I never remove, unless they're badly damaged or about dead. Leaves, I like to tuck.
