New Grower Ok, ive been debating it, but heres my 1st grow journal.

thanks jm, actually i read through that once, but its great, thanks for reminding me about it. funny about the underwatering, it states that the top of your soil will get very hard if underwatering, and that was definetly the case with me. I watered/fed them 2 days ago, and i lifted my pots today-sure enough, theyre getting very light already! i cant believe it didnt just lift them yet...ill be doing that from now on-ive gone 10-14 days with out watering not too long ago..gheese! I must say though, if I had to choose, id go with under watering rather than over watering for sure!

Yea I never go with days for watering my
Plants. Always weight of the pot. All plants drink and eat differently. I just keep a chart. Who was Fed what when and how much. Especially when growing multiple plants. Got to be on top of it. Without a chart I would be screwed. I have to know everything including all there Phs and run offs and what they're eating. What would be a light feeding for my one plant would burn my other one. With 20 plants it takes hours to fill all the jugs, get all there feed together and Ph all there water accordingly. It's no easy task but the payoff in the end is well worth it all.

thanks cap..yeah i take a bunch of time logging what they fed, ph, etc. the only thing is i never weighed them. Always did the "knuckle" trick, and to be honest, its not very effective. for me, anyhow. well im def gonna be keeping a close eye now! and hey, the leaves are starting to show a turnaround already!

As a former FNG, I have completely switched to the weighted pot method. Knuckle and finger test blows.

quick pic update from my cell..one of my favorite so far, and the other two are of my "small" photo's that are still in veg until after the auto harvest. Its funny, all 3 of them are different seed companies' versions of White Widow, they all look COMPLETEL Y different. top is from cannabisseeds.com, the other two are dinafem's and G13's. im really curious to see how each progress through flower. Im not sure if its because of my T5's or what, but they are really short, and bushy pheno's..all but the oldest one (not in pic) which is very tall. hmmmm..the one from cannabis seeds looks like a hardcore sativa, and the other two have real FAT leaves, which indicates indica..??i dont get it

It's odd having same strain look so different isn't it? Even if you were to get a white widow from Amsterdam Seeds it would also look different from the rest, and likely more potent as well...
