ok, i got a question. ive got alot of small foliage at the bottom of my girls. this even includes small buds starting. should take a little while, and go through all of them, clearing away all of that. Ive heard that if I do that, not only will it create good airflow and make it easier to water them, but it will also concentrate all the plants energy over the next few weeks into the bigger buds at the top? is there any truth to that?
On one hand, id LOVE to get rid of all that shit, would just look better and be easier to work with.
On the other hand, id HATE to cut down bud spots, it just feels wrong. haha.
please, any comments would help~thanks!

Hey from what I can deduce I wouldn't thin my plants out unless the undergrowth was just more or less dead and dried up. You run the risk of stressing and stunting if you start clipping stuff off, and you don't want that. I say leave them and get some side lighting in there if you can.

I remove the small leaves and small side shoot buds under the girls that don't get any light at all.Some guys say leave them but i think its better to remove them and put more energy in the top branches and buds.

thanks guys..squid side lighting isnt really an option..i have the extra t5's, but im maxed out as far as electricity in the room. Besides, with the 1000 watt hps, i dont really need to add lighting from what ive been told, unless i wanna add blue spectrum. I know that "lolly popping" is good for photo's, but im concerned about it with auto's, because i run the risk of stunting them. Auto's are known for being very finicky, have you been doing this with auto's?

haha. But I pretty much just sit on here all day since I am injured and all. I am also watching tv with the woman and eating, smoking, whatever. I have never trimmed anything on mine unless it was completely dead. Namvet says he does though.

haha i know, i was just playin with ya..im just always stunned at how fast you answer..not just me but everyone! your good, you! yeah i think im gonna just leave them be..dont want to go backwards when ive come so far..it'd be different if it weren't my first go at this. When i get to be a little better at this, i can experiment more with stuff like that, plz dont get me wrong namvet, i definetly value your opinions, and they are ALWAYS welcome!
