I have 4 random dealer seeds, ( I think skunk # 1) that are all a little older than the autos which were plants on the 8th of last month and none have shown sex yet, should anytime though..

uh huh, wow, thats all great info guys, great diagram andy. So from what im gathering, you have to change your light cycle before you see sex in photos? i havent changed my light cycle, and wont until I harvest my auto's. and yes andy, thats exactly what im looking at. Gosh i must sound so dumb sometimes! haha :o

ok, so its been 24 hours since ive hung my 1000 watt hps, and the temps did not go above 79, and basically read 77-79 all day and night. My ladies seem to be responding fine, so i lowered it a foot. Im at 3'3" above top of my biggest girrl. Its been that way for over an hour now, and it still is reading at 77. I used the back of my hand trick, and it felt just fine from that distance, and i have two oscillating fans circulating from two corners of the room providing great air movement..so i think im ok...? Ill be home all day today monitoring the situation, so ill have a close eye on the temps. basically just have to watch for temps, right?

A photo will eventually show preflowers if you veg it long enough, especially the males which are usually quicker. Like CDC said, give it at least a month or two.

I am just letting them veg till all the autos are done, then I will give them 12/12, I mean theoretically you can just let them veg indefinitely anyways right? I rather have the auto's get the 20/4 all the way through. Good luck mahn! :smokeit:

killjin, thats my thought exactly. i actually planted one photo by accident at first, and it was one of the nicest looking right from the get-go, so with your thoughts in mind ive planted four more photos, the hell with it right? just switch to 12/12 once my auto's are harvested. then after my photos are done, ive got 5 delicious "la diva" autos going in..im stoked, now that ive got the whole soil ph thing down, it should go a little more smoothly. (well see though..haha)

i put my kid down for a nap, laid with him, and my ladies were going down for a nap too. the lights were out, but my exit fan was still blowing, so i took the liberty to unplug it. "ill just be up when they get up like i always am anyhow to plug it back in, right?" WRONG! i passed out next to my son, woke up, casually glanced at my watch, it'd been over an hour since the 1000 watt had been back on! i rushed to my tent, and the temps were up to 86...i plugged the fan in, opened the doors to the tent, fortunately i left the a/c running so that offset the temps in the tent within minutes. within 2 minutes, it had leveled out at 75. so it was at 86 for prob 45 minutes or so, shouldnt be a huge deal. One thing's for sure, im leaving EVERYTHING plugged in from now on! (haha) :hump:

ok, i got another dumb question if someone can help me out. Now that ive got my soil PH stabilized, I want to start these girls on nutes. Im gonna give them all a veg feeding, and i want to add cal mag to it, possibly root boost. do you recommend i do all 3? How much should I give, quarter, half? I know not a full dose. I plan on feeding tomorrow morning or afternoon, should i do it in the early a.m.? that seems to be when theyre thriving, or should I wait until after their nap in the afternoon. Technically that is the girls' morning, right? Last dumb question, ive got my water sitting out in a 5 gallon bucket, to de-chlorinate it, should i put my nutes in tonight, so it settles in the water overnight? or should i put it in the water right before the feeding? i know, dumb, but itll be the last time i ask these! Thanks guys!

86 won't hurt em at all. i run canopy temps at 90/91...my girls love it. but you wanna stay under 85 air temps or you'll stress the girls out of growing. with your constant 75 you can't go wrong.:smokeit:
