How's it going fellow autoflower cultivators. My name's L but I used to go by lever2000. I joined this forum back in 2011 on the 4th of July to be exact (Murcia).
Soon as I joined I knew right away this place was home. Everyone was nice looked out for one another and treated everyone with respect. It was not like any forum I had been on, no trolls it was a paridise.
When I first joined AFN I had just heard about autoflowers from a friend (They were still in their infancy). I was like this is what I've been looking for. I had been growing photoperiods outdoors for years but where I live I have a small window to grow its very humid, hot, and rainy.
So the allure to be able to grow year round with autoflowers from seed to weed in 70-90 days was insane to think about. I had never even grown inside but decided I was going to grow autos inside
So I joined this forum ordered some Russian rocket fuel beans off of attitude seed bank and started collecting my gear to get the grow underway.
Geez this is long winded (I'm almost done) as I started my reintroduction, I was like ok might as well tell the backstory lol. I'm really stoned on Larry og and I learned a lot about growing indoors and autoflowers during my time here and had a blast along the way. I made some lifelong friends here that are still my close friends to this day
I started blowing glass right at the end of my residency here, And started making a career out of it. Not too long after the guy that told me about auto flowers ends up getting busted.
So I shut down shop immediately and further Pursued glass blowing. I still blow glass for a living. I love blazing high quality herbs and concentrates. Let me tell you what I have missed this place and growing terribly.
Now on to the kicker my mother was just diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer And it has spread to her liver. She has never been a fan of cannabis it makes her paranoid.
She decided she did not want to do chemo. She would rather just live the last bit of her life as happy and comfortably as possible, while trying more natural means of treatment. Maybe just maybe she can get a couple more years out of it.
So here I am I'm back home. I Just dropped some beans in some water last night. This first go is mostly to make my mother Rick simpson oil and edibles. I'll be starting a new indoor organic grow journal sometime today. This will be my love garden that I hope turns into a victory garden.
Well that's that I think that covers just about the jist of it. I'm really really glad to be back and I'm really impressed with how far autoflowers have came. I am super excited to get this first warm up run into some soil and see what all the new genenetics are about.
I've attached some pics past plants I grew on here and some of my glass work as well. I look forward to blazing with y'all and growing some dank bud, Much love.
