I can't really tell from the pics, but maybe it's overfeeding.
My usual regime is 0.8 to 1.0 grow with a pH of 5.8 -6.2 from seedling. Then I increase the feed until the tips yellow a little, then back off a bit until the leaves go dark green.
Some plants like a lower pH than others, so experiment with tiny changes, and water each plant individually.
It's a right pain sometimes but it can be worth it until the plants are older and can cope.
Hope that's useful,
OJ

Cheers for that Oh Jay. I've spent the last few days looking into it, and based on comparison with many many diaries/plant help threads around, I've come to the conclusion that
its a mix of overwatering and starvation. Mainly overwatering I think... that locks out nute intake (the little there was) and stunts growth.

I thought formulex was general light feeding, apparently not. Stims and vitamins. There was zero food in the coco
I had to do something, so I prepped a mix of Canna A & B, Rhizo and Cannazyme, and a fair amount of Sensi Cal Mag Veg. Coco is known for cal mag defs, so no harm in adding it.

I did a EC 1.6 (over 0.5 base) pH.5.5 brew. The run off before was coming out at 6 - 6.2, so I thought a strong munch feed + acidity would help the roots fight the excess H20.
I wanted to feed a little quantity, but good dosage, before letting dry the medium. Its gonna take a few days I guess... Gave them very little each on Saturday (+/-250ml), watered close to the stem, and again yesterday evening.

Its been only two days, but I think the Ortega's are getting better, the little growth shown is greener. The Purple Haze is the same, and the Night Queens are starting to show a very light yellowing.

So now that they have some feed, will have to let the coco dry out.
Not all is lost for sure, but I'm pretty bummed out. 1 little mistake is going to cost me at least an extra week, week and a half of veg time.

(which is quite extraordinarily coincidental... more on that soon.... )

i posted there as well but i am watching this journal

Try not to get too disheartened Groff... The learning curve can be cruel sometimes & just a downright c*nt other times... You gotta keep ploughing on dude & eventually you will come out the other side... With some tasty dank..

MJ is a hardy plant.. & in the end you will be rewarded :smokeit:

Healthy karma sent dude... :wiz:

would love to help, want to help, but I know hydro, hope they get to you in the infirmary. I know that in soil(I am wondering if coco is similar) change takes some time, so maybe what you are doing is making a difference.

change will happen quicker in coir than soil due to the lack of buffer and within 3 days you will see changes

not feeding soilless media seems to be a major common mistake on this board
theres to many soil growers chiming in and saying don't feed until week 2-4 but soilless media has 0 nutrient vs soil which is pre fertilised

Cross posting from the Infirmary thread due to urgency... (and better pics)

Damn it...

one ortega and one night queen are getting worse... The new leafs have gotten better and green, but whats with the first set dying out??

This one here started yellowing from the tip now too ...

I'm starting to think this may be iron deficiency. Canna A&B practically has no Fe in the formulation. Cal Mag Veg has quite a bit of chelated iron, should I try upping the feed here?
The coco is still a bit moist in the bottom, but not so much at the top, I would have expected the some improvement in vigor if it was water logging... but still all droopy have no clue what to do...

The other Ortega and Night queen are doing quite fine, except I don't see much growth. Maybe I'm being impatient and have read way too many DWC/Auto diaries.

Unless someone has a good idea, Iill wait until tomorrow and do a 1/2 strength feed + cal mag

What on earth is going so wrong!?

you sure your not burning them up ..........

they look pretty burn to me. i dont know how much youve been feeding because ive been skimming the pages, but looks like its over fed.
sounds like you have the pH in line, but it could be that youre just over feeding the little girls.

are you feeding every other watering?
are you useing the 'less is more' method? (starting nutes out slowly?)
i dont think it needs cal/mag. it looks pretty stressed.

i would flush with a gal or 2 of tap water, then another 1-2 gals of pH 6.~.. let them sit for 2-3 days then give it a slight feeding. wait another few days and pH water. wait another few days and slightly increase feeding. then pH. slight increase.. etc etc.

So there is no consensus. 50/50 say nute burn, others swear not. It is a tough call, no clear indication. One symptom gets better, others worse...
Think I will flush everything out for safety and apply a light feed and hope for a miracle in the next 3 days. 4h till lights on.

thank you for your input everyone!
