I can't really tell from the pics, but maybe it's overfeeding.
My usual regime is 0.8 to 1.0 grow with a pH of 5.8 -6.2 from seedling. Then I increase the feed until the tips yellow a little, then back off a bit until the leaves go dark green.
Some plants like a lower pH than others, so experiment with tiny changes, and water each plant individually.
It's a right pain sometimes but it can be worth it until the plants are older and can cope.
Hope that's useful,
OJ
Cheers for that Oh Jay. I've spent the last few days looking into it, and based on comparison with many many diaries/plant help threads around, I've come to the conclusion that
its a mix of overwatering and starvation. Mainly overwatering I think... that locks out nute intake (the little there was) and stunts growth.
I thought formulex was general light feeding, apparently not. Stims and vitamins. There was zero food in the coco
I had to do something, so I prepped a mix of Canna A & B, Rhizo and Cannazyme, and a fair amount of Sensi Cal Mag Veg. Coco is known for cal mag defs, so no harm in adding it.
I did a EC 1.6 (over 0.5 base) pH.5.5 brew. The run off before was coming out at 6 - 6.2, so I thought a strong munch feed + acidity would help the roots fight the excess H20.
I wanted to feed a little quantity, but good dosage, before letting dry the medium. Its gonna take a few days I guess... Gave them very little each on Saturday (+/-250ml), watered close to the stem, and again yesterday evening.
Its been only two days, but I think the Ortega's are getting better, the little growth shown is greener. The Purple Haze is the same, and the Night Queens are starting to show a very light yellowing.
So now that they have some feed, will have to let the coco dry out.
Not all is lost for sure, but I'm pretty bummed out. 1 little mistake is going to cost me at least an extra week, week and a half of veg time.
(which is quite extraordinarily coincidental... more on that soon.... )
