Take your time. Also, a bigger initial investment in your grow equipment ends up being much cheaper in the long run. I can't even begin to tell you how many times I've low balled it on some questionable gear and ended up buying the quality product anyway when the cheap stuff broke. You're not just buying a quality light when you pay more, you're buying peace of mind.
for real...ppm and ph meters....skip the 10 - 18 buck ones from ebay...the longest one has lasted me is about six months...a friend paid aroudn 50.00 for his and it ahs worked for years...just keeps it calibrated with fresh batteries and no problems.
