Indoor Novice advice

http://www.growell.co.uk/nutrients-boosters.html

give you an isea of nutes, ive never used veg on autos cause any veg period between seedling and flower is so short, most autos flower on wk 3-4 and are seedlings for 2, but as said, maybe its my soil/feed but i always get the same results so whatever works, id reccomend with the light the lumens and spectrum of bulb will be more important in a small tent than output, normally is say get a 4 or even 600w but in a tent that size the heat would be too much, and the lumen/spectrum output not much different, they just cover a larger area,ie more plants, but in a tent so small, a 250 would be advisable, tho as said heat may be an issue:drool:

also in soil i know people whom have good results with quality organic bat guano, just sprikle over top of soil and water in, thats it!

I prefer soil and to use organics. There's a huge and open debate as to whats better. Organics are better for you and the environment and are generally agreed to produce better tasting pot. Synthetics are generally agreed to give bigger results.
Don't forget a micro feed, you need those micros along with the vege and bloom.

I use vege nutes at quarter streingth on autos when they develop their second set of true leaves. They usually say thank you by perking up right away. Be very careful with vege nutes and auto's, if you stunt them in vege by using too much they stay stunted.

I'm a little sketched out by how cheap that light is, actually. I also don't understand why the reflector is blue, that takes away from it's reflectivity. That timer will work great.

Alrighty, so overall do you guys think it's a go ahead on the light set? Spent a lot so far on the tent, Rhino filter & fan, pH meter, in-tent fan and seeds.

just noticed in the zoom in the blue is just protective plastic it shows it being peeled off.. so atleast that seems to make sense.
its either a good deal or a cheap unbranded light that may or may not cause problems. i would say for that price it might be worth it. id wait around a bit though.. just my opinion

I think some of it's branded, it says in the description:

"This kit is designed and manufactured in --- with value in mind and therefore is a top quality but affordable option, when a complete lighting kit is required.

  • Dutch Hammertone Reflector 5m IEC Lead Standard.
  • Plug & Play IEC Lead.
  • 25 year Guarantee on Ballast only.
  • Venture Branded Lamps and Control Gear."
Seems quite interesting, the bulb is a Sunmaster one.

i always see those kind of comments and they seem like advertising to me but who knows. im not talking it down just hard to tell without using it for a year or so and seeing. id probably go for it if youre on a budget otherwise buy a well known brand just to have some peace of mind.

25 year guarantee seems crazy, if real then fuck it why not, quarter of a century to test it out.

thats good, but if in uk you will get one direct from hydro supplier on ebay similar for 30 40 quid less! avoid the sealed maxibrights as if they blow(which a year on 20/4 it will) they are sealed, but at aroung 60 quid for ballast bulb and shade there are others, most hydro shops will buy from same wholesalers, check for 250 ballast on fleabay
