streching

The only thing that causes that is light to far away.A 1000watt hps at that distance shouldn't cause streching like that and thats really strange unless the bulb is faulty and not putting out the full amount of lumens which by the way is a lot more than 7,500 lumens, just saying.:2cents::lol:

Damping off is when the stem rots away at soil level from being to wet and not enough air movement.

I just based it of this reference

HPS-Light-Distance-Chart.jpg

I see what you mean by distance from plant. At about 30 inches it would be 7,130 and thats not much.According to the chart thr optimal distance would be 10 to 12 inches and that would give you about 50 or 60,000 lumens.I would go with the back of the wrist method and leave it at that.:smokebuds::peace:

the suns puts out around 10k per sqft optimal is considered 7500-10000 max pqft people can grow decent bud above 5k -per sqft flower not 60k most plants would bleach under that and i doubt you would get that close with a 1000 without water cooling even then the plant will turn white from light stress in most cases

like the chart shows anything in yellow is ok for flower but i prefer 7500 to keep things extra tight and build in a buffer for lamp ballast age and effiency

I decided to add about an inch of soil to the pot for support. This morning the plant stands fine and if growing the next set of leaves

They are all doing fine. Going to post my weekly update tomorrow. 4 out of 5 have shown sex and are females. Just waiting on the last auto. My mazar and fruity chronic juice are also doing well. They are alot shorter than the NL/Blue autos. Im also thinking that because of the size of the last auto and the fact that it hasn't shown sex yet makes me think its not a northern light blue auto. The last plant looks the same as the furity chronic and the mazar which are not autos. It even has a different plant structure than the other autos. I will continue to watch and update. My other updates can be found in my previous threads. Please take a look.

good to here! Will do dude :D
