:funny: oh snap! Somebody saw that bird and made you smoke some leggz?! They look outstanding mate, that's street food you could make mint off of, 2 hours at lunchtime and you'd be cleaned out every day...:drool: My sister would knock a child over making her way to one-a dem bird hocks!
I hope it's not your mulch provider,....:yoinks::chef::rofl:

@Waira I think I have shown you this one , Cymbidium canaliculatum, . I get very large and lives high up in trees that have a pipe in them that they grow best . also very nice smell , when I was younger I used to climb the trees to get them . :thumbsup:

@hecno lovely looking flower even if stinky , really good mate looking out for the frogs, the big greenies are so rare. True its how life cycle goes but least the frog isnt wasted as such would toad poisoning be. We have marshy striped frogs , that live under the wet grasses and weeds. I havent seen or heard our cute tiny green frogs lately, i do try to colect and freeze ( kindest way i could think of) the toads

:woody: Oh Oh! I think you did ages ago, but I had forgotten! .....that color is amazing, nothing quite like it and certrainly one of the deepest purp's in the orchid family. I'm pretty sure this one is used in breeding for commercial and specialty crosses... Damn, I want one! I may have to look into that, best chance is right here in CA where one the the biggest and best species orchid nursery is...

I was gonna ask about the 'morpho's, they haven't been featured yet in this thread? That color is fantastic as always!
... :eek1: a wild kingdom moment there mate! I hope it wasn't one of your long time resident frogs.... I think you've shown this species of snake before, but I forget-- A tree snake? I dig their color and scale pattern!

Tree snake it is , A frog and a bug . :biggrin:

here is one for you lot , 40 years ago it was a poor mans ham , not now , it is my favorite smoked meat , -- Boneless lamb leg , the leg is pumped and brined and you don't see this around much any more but if you like lamb you will love this , The thing with it is you have to watch the salt content of your pumping brine as lamb needs a lot less salt than pork - 1/2 to 1/4 - You can infuse them with flavour but I like them just plain smoked :thumbsup:
