when you guys say i shouldint be watering that much what exactly does that mean??if you look at my pics a few pages back you'll see were they are at in their life i wet my soil pretty good a few hours before transplanting about 2-3 days ago and since then i see a little dryness on top part of soil so i just use spray bottle to damp the top soil is that right??if not whats best way to water??

That would probably work. Personally, after a few days, if the soil is dry on top, I might give them 1/4 to 1/2 cup of water in the soil.

After the plants get a month or so old, I just start adding water when the pot gets light.

Are those two statements saying the same thing? The plants look great and the soil does not look too wet. I just wanted to make sure you know I'm not telling you to water every day, especially at this stage.

when should i start adjusting my water for ph
I recommend adjusting pH from the very beginning.

This my light schedule... unique to me, based on information I've picked up and experimentation... Under cfl 'til second set of true leaves or sex, if I'm using cfl's. If I'm starting them directly in their pots, like you are, I might put them under the MH from the beginning. Either way, I keep them under the MH for about two weeks into flowering and change to HPS. When I see the first sign of the fan leaves starting to die off, I switch back to MH and start my flush. :peace:

I MUST HAVE BEEN HIGH WHEN I WROTE THAT......but thanks for responding i thought i was talking to myself there for a sec:confused:.....lol but great info man and no i understand not to water everyday you made that clear. and i get my fan and filter on the 25th i will then have temps under control so i will then be switching to my 400watt HPS all the way untill harvest i would prefer not to use the MH this grow just like you said i want to start MH from the begining and then 2weeks into flower switch to HPS...
