I'm glad there are only a few who remember my first grow log... I was giddy as a schoolgirl. (and I'm an old man... LOL)

It is exciting and intriguing... you'll do fine. Yes, they should show sex in 3-4 weeks... males first, normally.

Thanks for being understanding... !!and how old is this site exactly ??anyways thanks for all the help had 4 out of five germ one later diedbut thats how it goes i guess 3 out of five i guess is kind of good right

The site had it's 1st anniversary in Jan. :thumbs:

We would like to do better than 3 out of 5 but that will come. It actually makes a difference just having the confidence of one grow under your belt.

Let's give 'em a little room... not too much TLC. Kindness has killed many a cannabis plant. LOL Go easy on the water. They don't drink a lot at this stage when you have them in a large pot. If the soil right around the plant gets dry, you can give them a little bit to hold them over until it's time to water. NO ferts! ...not for a few weeks.

just an update its been about 6-7 days since i planted my autoflower (AK47)4 days above ground!!! the first pic is of my t5 set up i have 2 24watt (4000 lumens total) t5s for 3 3gal .seedlings how much longer should i be waiting before using hps?i have heard so many diff.things so i already was told by the greats on thi site (muddy,joe dirt or other +rep people )and they say after they show sex so thats what ill stick with unless anyone else has an opinion(not that i dont trust the +rep people)just looking for diff grow options thats all!!!but moving on the next pic is of my my first seedling that popped next pic second and 3rd popped on the same day so all are transplanted and i think its all good is this how they should look after roughly 4 days above ground???please help people i really want to get a decent grow under my belt!!!

I know several who start with HPS, but I would wait until they show sex, at least. When they get crowded under the T5 at the latest. When you do change your lighting, keep the HPS a good distance from the canopy for a few days, to let the plants get used to the light, then gradually lower the light. Does your HPS have an air cooled hood?

When you do change your lighting, keep the HPS a good distance from the canopy for a few days, to let the plants get used to the light, then gradually lower the light. Does your HPS have an air cooled hood?

thanks man i heard that to but i think its still to hot to use hps on seedlings just my opinion....since my fan and filter is on the way from ebay so another 5-6-7 days untill that gets here so i should be ready to switch right around the time it gets here.i have a air cooled 400watt mh/hps with a 190 cfm HV fan to cool the light......
