New Grower New to forum, first grow journal of first ever grow!

well here it is, another day and another update with a couple pics. i was originally planning to give day by day pics and updates, but i think since growth isnt very explosive right at this point i might not post pics every day and wait until theres something worth showing,lol. but feel free to let me know what you all prefer.
can anyone chime in as far as how growth is looking on my plant. all y pictures have been dated startting from when i planted the seed in the soil. the seed sprouted above soil on the morning of day 4, this is currently day 7. how do you all think the growth rate is coming along. i have no way of knowing if its growing fast or slpow or what,lol. it appears to be looking healthy to me, no signs of stretching (at least i think not) and small leaves appear to be in good health. but let me know if theres any issues you might see.

also ive decided that i am going to top this plant at 4th node when the time comes, since this is my first grow im not overly concerned about yield, im not a heavy user so figured i might as well experiment a little bit, plus i want to keep things as short as possible due to height restrictions, im pretty curous how itll do topped with lst, especially since im a noob. but thats part of the fun. well that and i still have 8 more seeds. i ordered 7 afghan kusg ryder , and i also have two freebie seeds that were sent, there some auto cheese i believe. im not familiar with that strain but perhaps ill give one of them a try on my next grow once this one is over.

on a side note i want to apologize if im making errors with any postings or replies of the like. this is the first time ive ever belonged to a forum, so im kind of learning how to post and what not as i go along.

so random question i forgot to ask, does anyone know how much smell one akr will give off? i dont have a carbon filter i own my home and im just one person living here. but is one plant going to make my entire house smell strongly ?

You'll need a filter if you don't want people to know what you're doing. We get real accustomed to the smell of our plants growing and don't really notice when the smell gets out into the wild. At least not until somebody with a less frequent exposure points it out.

yeah currently im not venting outside of my house, currently jusr have things setup in a spare bedroom in my basement just venting into my basement, everyone i ever have over alreasy knows that im growing a plant. honestly i didnt think one plant would really stink that much. i always thought that was onyl more for people growing multiple plants. dang, now im worried this one plant is going to be super strong smelling,lol. i dont excactly have the funds right now for an inline fan and filter combo . im literally just using a little 4 inch 100cfm booster fan that sticks out the top vent of my tent like a little chimney. seems to vent the tent well at least,lol

looking like youve done a nice job with your plants. i sure hope they produce for ya. that one seedling pic, its almost double the height of mine. does that mean that yous stretcherd or is mine stunted? or maybe its just a different strain and what not. i really like that bushy dark green bubblegum. looking healthy!

im on the morning of day 8 from seed now, and now im feeling worried, my seedling is still really small and only has one set of tiny true leaves. now im starting to think its beens tuntedsome how, that or its realoly going to suddenly take off inm the next couple weeks. i hope thats the case.

Don't compare sizes, look at Trump! It's strain dependent so be patient, she is growing beneath the surface. Give it a week and you will see a massive difference. A watched kettle never boils as they say.

yeah i was assuming it was building its root system, it is growing a little every day when i check it. just slower going right now. i am however really looking forward to watching the explosive growth.

so what does everyone think, wold you like to see daily photo updates, or only every two or 3 days? since its my first grow journal im not really sure what people like most. im taking daily pics for myself anyway. but i wont post daily if people dont think its necessary or they dont really want daily pics.
