New Grower New to forum, first grow journal of first ever grow!

I don't think the rest would make a difference in your pH. I personally don't measure runoff pH. It's always a good idea to feed quarter or half strength after a flush. Since you've been doing quarter strength all along and you now had a couple flushes, I would go ahead and go have strength.

I can't remember what you're using for lights, but if they're LEDs you will want some cal-mag by the time you get late in flower. I usually just order off eBay.

alright thanks for advice, ill whip up some half strength nutes in the morning and give the plant another watering. the fabric pot seems to be preventing any overwatering issues so im not woried about flooding it with some more water one more time, so that will work out well. and yes i will definitly be looking into getting some cal mag. im going to look in the morning at some of the local greenhouses and if they dont have any then il order offline

okay so ive officially hit a little issue, past week or so ive noticed some fading of my leaves and yellowing. ive attached a pic of a fan leaf i pulled thats showing this. i tried matching it up to a leaf sympton chart but so many of them look so similiar, can anyone tell me what the problem is, im thinking eith a nitrigen problem (turns out i had only been running quarter strength nutes most this time, increased to half strength last watering the other day), or is that some magnesium defiency (not exactly sure what that is or how to help it). if its lack of nitrogen will my increase to half strength nutes help fix this? and if its a magnesium issue how do i help it? its happened very suddenly only within roughly the past 4 days or so and it seems to be getting worse faster. though i did just only water with half strength nutes yesterday morning. at first i thought maybe it was just an aging leaf thing. but ive also started to notice it on some newer leaves. i did just defol some of the more yellowing looking older leaves, plucked about 4 or 5 fan leafs from plant. id idnt really think much of it at first becasue i thought it was light spectrums reflecting on leaves, but new pics taken using the camera flash kind of make it show up better.

ah awesome thanks! that will definitly come in handy. ad from what i can tell my flush and half strength nute feeding seems as if its helped. leaves appear to be standing stronger and have greened up more. im still not sure iif it was a lockout or that perhaps i just wasnt giving enough nutes. but regardless in the future ill be sure to flush part way through and perhaps increase nutes to half strength sooner on. time will tell, ill know better when i take new ppics outside tent with flash. (it helps show me things i couldnt normally see. but so far im pretty sure its looking better. ive learnt a lot from this grow so the next plant should go smoother. next watering i think ill be switching to bloom nutes, also at half strength. this will defenitly most likly be a low yielding plant. but there are buds forming and its not dead, so thats a win in my books, lol.
ill be posting an update with new pics in a couple days or so. thanks again for the nice simplified info chart!

well hello again all, week 7 update time is here. the plant appears tobe recovering well in my eyes, new leaf growth is showing nice green foliage and everything and no signs of tip burn on the new growth. still a few leaves in the pics with some very minor tip issues but everything very new is looking good. i think the bump to half strenght nutes has really made a difference. thats definitely something im going to remember for the future. i still need to pick myself up some cal mag but going to be doing that shortly. plant seems to be budding nicely. though i have nothing to compare with. i was going to make the switch to bloom nutes on my last watering but decided to wait til next watering in a day or two. i did d a little defoliation on it of some of the larger fan leaves to help with light penetration which seems to be going well. as always ive attached a few pics, and i welcome any and all comments or critiques. im aware of the fact also that this will not be a very high yielding harvest at all im guessing. but worth it for all the great things ive learnt and info ive gotten.

hey thanks for the kind words, its not perfect. and theres many growers on here that can do way better then myself. but for first attempt all in all im hapy with how things are coming along.though ill admit i doubt i would have gotten this far without the help and advice of all those who have lent their experience and knowledge, so have to give a bow to all those people.

well today i did some light defol, tied open the colas to open them up more for better light and made the switch to bloom nutes when i watered. noticed the plant is starting to develop some frost on the buds and leaves so thats pretty cool to see. even though shes small there does appear to be a lot of buds forming (at least to my eyes) so perhaps itll yield mor then i thought it would, guess ill find out. anyway just thought id throw in a few more update pics after doing the tying back and what not. im hoping after a few days or so that i can maybe revome ties and hopefully stems will stay in place. dont wanna interfear with any flower growth. anyway all enjoy the pics and comment freely :).
oh and i still havent been able to fully figure out why i have some tip burn, its very mild. i phd my water and soil and its all sitting in range so not really sure whats causing it. i do have cal mag coming in the mail, it should be here in a few days. and i noticed that my bloom nuts also contain magnesium so will see if that helps with some of the leaf issue. but all in all its not as bad on the plant as it looks in the pics.
when my cal/mag does arrive how does one administer it, do i just mix it right in with my nuted water and feed plant. or does it have to be given a fancy way or something?

I wanted to say in your last post I think you are going to be very suprised with your end yield.

But I get it...Low expectations + Good Care = Harvest suprise.

No expert but you seem to have the LST down good. Id be shit scared to try it on my first grow.

As for the tip yellowing, maybe your switch over to Bloom nutes does the trick. It might be pumping energy to Cola production and need the boost. Dont take my advice. You seem to have been on the right track so far.

Looking good! I think you're going to find that the buds develop pretty good the way you spread them out.

Yeah km kind of hoping the same thing. I'm not sure how much buds grow. I have noticed that even some of the hairs are starting to to turn brown on the tips. I thought that's not supposed to happen till closer to harvest. But time will tell how much they will fatten up. It's only at 7 weeks 5 days, so guess still a few weeks or so of grow time anyway.
