Ok so day 14. Here’s some more pictures. I just topped them so fingers are crossed everything heals up good. If anyone sees anything that needs adjusting let me know. I noticed some of the leaves are curling up slightly on one of them.

So when should I switch from seedling nutrients to veg?

I would be going with veg nutrients right now. I haven't done deep water culture in a long enough time that I can't remember exactly what strength you would want to be at right here.

I might try:

Grow 3-4 mil per gallon
Micro 4 mil/g
Bloom 1 mil/g

That would probably put you in the 450 to 550 parts per million on feed strength.

I like to measure with irrigation syringes, I use hundred ml syringes but on a small grow you could probably get by with 50 or 60 ml syringes.

Here are some pictures for day 15. I did a Rex change after that and I may have goofed up cause I went a little heavy on the nuits I think. My ph is 5.8 and my Pmm is 1260 lol I’m going to give it a day or two and see if they like it or not.

Day 16. Ok lowered the nuits to 900 on the one cause there is some clear burn on it but the other seems to be holding fine. Here’s a few more pics. If the other one gets worse I’ll lower it some more.

Day 17. Just getting over the burn. The other plant seems to like the over the top nuits and once I lowered the other one it seems fine now. Now sure if I’m doing everything right I thought they would be taller by now but that’s me lol

Anyone know if my plants look on track or are they a bit small?

By my count that larger one is about 19 or 20 days old? It could be a little small, but it takes awhile for the routes to drop and in Hydro they should start taking off. The main problem you're going to run into his finding the right nutrient level. If you're not at the correct level you won't have the correct pH and the plant won't be able to utilize the nutrients as efficiently and it will grow slower.

To find the correct nutrient level you'll have to measure total dissolved solids and pH each day at a consistent time and keep track of the records that you get. We have a schedule on here that will help you find your nutrient the level based upon your pH and your total dissolved solids.

Some guys that don't want to go through the trouble of doing that everyday, switch to AN nutrients they usually work pretty good if your background water starts off at a certain level it can usually self buffer all the way through the grow.

Today is day 18 from seed pop. I check my ppm and ph everyday. It’s been a steady 5.9 ph and the bigger one is at 900 ppm and the smaller is 1200 but’s only been those for 2 days before that it was only 265 ppm. Here is some pictures from today.
