Hi,

As the title says I am a completely new grower, this is my first- it’s Dutch Passion AutoDuck..

I have 2 plants shown in the photos, the one on the left seems slightly less mature than the right hand side one but fan leaves are dying, I’ve tried to look at the trichomes (tbh struggling to know what I’m looking for!) and some pistils are darkening but they don’t seem to be curling in..

Am I being too eager thinking harvest is soon or should I wait longer???

Any help would be great! Ps no idea why the pictures are side ways.. ‘technophobe!’

Looks like you have a fair number of white pistils. That indicates more time to go. Using a pocket scope, loupe or usb cam to check trichomes is the best way to know when to harvest. Trichomes look like tiny clear or milky/cloudy mushrooms. Can be amber as well, but that would mean you are ready to harvest if you have a lot of those.

Milky/cloudy trichomes will give a more up type high, versus a lot of amber trichomes which will give you a thicker, couch lock type high.

I managed to get some photos of the trichomes, wondered if you could give me your opinion? I’m unsure as not sure what I should be looking at. Thanks

You appear to have lots of cloudy trichomes with a few amber mixed in. You have some clear trichomes, but I'm not counting those clear buggers at the edge. Those may stay clear. Many of my plants had some clear trichomes along edges when I've harvested. Monitor closely this next week and see if the majority of trichomes change to more amber and or cloudy. You could concievably harvest today for instance, however I feel another week is needed to see what changes you get.

Thanks for the reply/ advice, it’s been really helpful. Just wanted to get this first one right and start the journey with success! [emoji1360]
