Fish pond water is organic fertilizer --Correct -- and is a awesome mycrobe feed

Welp, I don’t have a fish pond but I do have a smallish pond with fish in it haha! Otherwise I planned to use the water straight from the well and PH up or down accordingly. Definitely mixing some to “cook” while my first grow is going on. I am patient and not trying to rush anything at all. Afterwards, I planned to compost the first batch and let it cook during my second grow.
The goal is to work my way towards the TLO concept but not until I get the basics down.
With you folks’ input, the first grow will be:
Carefully Amended soil
No layering
No Teas unless deficiencies appear
No SCROG
No Jiffy Pods
I’ll start a journal once everything has arrived and such. Thank you all very much and I am very excited to start!

just a fyi,the no teas thing can be a problem if the soil is on thelite side. a tea wont take the place of a nice soil. tea can take some of the load of milder soil builds so IME I would tend to use them in veg,Transition and flower to help the soil maintian more foods for the long haul. Top dressing too work very well. but congrats and try not to take on too much. never any layers.layers are BS tbh. teas help often if the soil if mild which doing your first soil it might be. Thank you kindly. The final bit of equipment came in on Friday and I plan to finish setting up tonight. Depending on whether I finish this evening, I will also start the seed germination.
One thing I am not entirely clear on: Will the soil “cook” once mixed with the amendments? Not too keen on frying my first seed hah!

The thing with amendments , is they need time to settle in and balance them self's out and time for the microbes to do there job . Mixing and then planting may not be the way to go , Old mate will know more on this ,@Eyes on Fire . as I leave mine for min of 3 months .
