New Grower New Alaskan Autos

It's 39f outside right now. These stats aren't terribly accurate. Alaska has been very warm for about five years. But this is an idea of what I'm working with.

Progress. The interior floor is 54"x54". The studwalls are 51" tall. The gable trusses are 27" to the peak. The five gallon buckets are about 14" tall. Total headspace is 43", so I may have to prune. The walls and door will be reinforced with welded steel livestock fence and sheeted with an exterior and interior layer of opaque 8mil. poly.

small pill containers or similar with a lid too LOL nifty man.

Got my pops to wash out some old pill canisters, he's as old as the hills and can't throw a damn thing away. I'll be using them to germinate the four Flash Stardust regular, and two Nirvana Jock Horror, each alone in their own little containment. So I can pour the water and seed and all into the seedling mix. Going to put them on top of my router as well, that sh!t amused me. XD It'll also let me know if any individual beans don't pop. Before waiting to see if the spring up from a peat nugget.

I am going to start a new Outdoor/Greenhouse thread. It has come to that time.

Progress.
Hey, I like that little structure you're building. In my greenhouse I place a 50 gallon plastic garbage can with a lid and on rollers, and fill it with water. It soaks in the heat during the day, and slowly releases it at night. It takes up room for one plant, but you could do a short one on top of the lid. Just a thought.

That's a great idea, Alaskan1! I could probably fit a little 30 gallon tote in there. Any thermal retention will aid in elongating my growing season and providing a more gentle temperature shift between day and night. I had also contemplated painting the floor black, but decided to go with white for maximum reflectivity
