New Grower New 2 growing. . I've chosen, fast & vast auto!!!

Mephisto,

I've got my inline coming from another room for fresh air to get in the tent, but you're right I've got my extractor exhaust in the same room! I've got the window covered at the moment, I'll have to get more ducting to get it to vent out the window.

My fans are TT vents. . 125 inline, 150 extractor, I think the brand is called 'vents' I'll check when I go back up.

Seems like I've still got a bit of work to do!

Definitely make sure I've got the required ventilation before I even think about putting my 2nd HID on!

Glad I came here, thanks for the help all!

do it the other way around mate, Intake from the room the tent is in, and exhaust into the other room.
You shouldn't worry about having an active intake (fan blowing in to the tent) , but you need to have a suitably powered fan to exhaust it.
They can be pricey, but we find the temperature controlled Ruck fans to be well worth the monies.

I never liked to exhaust outside my house in the UK, as it was in a city. if you're somewhere similar definitely invest in a good carbon filter and make sure your ducting connections are well sealed and secured.

Good luck anyway :)

Thanks Sanguine,

Hope so, and I'm sure I will as long as I take all your points on board.

I've got two threads mixed up, signal being poor tonight doesn't help, but I'm sticking to this one!

Thanks again, will keep this journal going, show you how I'm getting on!

Thanks mate, I'll be doing just that. . Glad I've came here, learned a lot already man!

Cheers!!!

Looks like I'll be investing in a ruck fan!

Cheers for that bro!!!

Just a a budget carbon filter, the intake and my exhaust fan is a bit bigger.

I'll invest in a better filter next time around. . Heard the rhino's are good.

Gonna get some more ducting and do it the other way around, like mephisto said. . I don't live in the city, but in a pretty built up area.

Hey Hector

Maybe 'cool tubes' could be the answer to your problem.

Thanks Hightimes,

I'll check them out.
