i have not been here for age's.after reading back a few pages, i feel meloncholy and a little sad. nelson is missed! as the crow fly's he was only about 150 mile.s away. it would have been cool to meet him. one time, he was within feet of me at a jimi hendrix concert in berkeley, back in 1970. :group:have a toke in memory of nelson!

I'm a new kid around here...So please excuse me, because I had never spoken to Nelson, so I can't help but feel like some sort of an invader of a private domain (even though this is a pretty public place!) but I stumbled onto this thread, and then looked him up on the search. It was very heart-wrenching reading a few of his old posts, updates on his health, etc... It was sad reading, and I felt compelled to make a post.

My heart goes out to all of you who were close to him, those of you who are thinking of lost loved ones this eve, and those of you who are battling any sort of illness.

With that said, it is also gladdening to read about the compassionate, heart/soul-driven people like him and long-time members that have shaped such a wonderful community as this.
This is the place to be! Not that I needed any more convincing! Thank you everyone!
