Indoor Need Some Suggestions On This New Cab

just wanted to get some opinions on how the new cab is coming out. I went with 4 elbows, so I have 4 intakes as you can see in the pic. I also finished the light fixture. I didnt use rain gutters like in the plans I found here, I used sheet metal and bent the last inch over hang over. I have 4 bolts, (eye Hooks in each corner with chains so I can hang it from the ceiling inside, and with the chain and hooks it should be easy to adjust height when I have to. Just waiting for the paint to dry so I can put seal on the door and if the elbows look ok to everyone Im gonna glue them in place. I turned them sideways, straight out takes up too much room. I also cut a 4 inch hole in the ceiling so when the fan gets here Im ready for it. On the light fixture, should I drill a bunch of holes between the bulbs so the exhaust in the ceiling pulls air also through the fixture. Im also putting a power strip on each wall and got some plug in sockets for moveable side lighting. So how do you think its looking so far????

I have a slight problem maybe someone can help me find a salution to. This whole dresser is built and ready. I just went on to order a fan and the only fan I can find is like 7 inches deep by 9 and change high. I only have 8 inches in my top area. What the hell am I gonna do, I cant rip it apart, I'll destroy it with the glue I used

What are some fans for like a 100 that will be able to push through a filter but small enough to fit into the 8 inch space?

As you can see the light fixture is complete, just up against the wall about the fan situation. Cant realy spend more than 120 on the fan and filter.

And the pic of the Nutes, someone gave me these, are these any better than Fox Farm Nutes?????

Looking real nice mate,

Hopefully all the work you have put in will pay u back in the end..

The only fan that comes to mind is a ducted model fan.. these things are really powerful but require a variable power supply..SOmething like this..

http://www.sonicelectric.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Category_Code=EDuctedFans

Cant really help with nutes, I know as much as you on that one lol..
LOokin forward to seeing some foliage in there bro..

keep up the top work..

Peace..

looks like a good nute lineup... i dont know what to tell you on the fan... I'd reccomend a bathking 90 CFM fan... but prob still too big... although they ARE very quiet and work well and I believe about 35 bucks shipped on ebay.... the only other suggestion is maybe a computer - type fan... but that wont push shit through a filter... unless you stack a few of em... and even then not the best... what kinda lighting are you using again?

:toke:

edit: and yes, I'd drill holes so cooling air can flow through your fixtures as well... cant hurt... and in a small space you want good temp regulation

:toke:

you nute lineup looks fine... dont know if I can make achoice on "better than fox farm" each has their own little pluses / minuses...

I'd also turn your air inlets (love the design btw) so they are all facing the same direction... this will provide a vortex-like air flow in your chamber which your plants will love and it will give good air flow to all... key to stop mold and get good growth... :toke:

Wow, thanks everyone! I ended up getting a fan and filter combo from HTGsupply, the fan is 3 inches taller than the space so Im just going to cut a hole in the ceiling and box it out so I can drop the fan to the depth/height it needs. The fan is 190cfm, a bit much for the dresser. As far as the Nutes, even though Im using fox farm nutes, is there any of these I can just use as a foliar spray?.......And check out my current grow, you'll see some foliage

Hey JM, I adjusted all the inlets in the same direction. As far as the nutes I dont know anything about them, wouldnt even know what to use and when for autos. Im gonna have to drop one are in the ceiling about 3 inches to make room for the fan, my upper area is 8 inches and the fan is 9-1/2 tall, so Im gonna drop the are needed and box it in

Ok got my fan and filter combo, so I will be cutting part of the ceiling out and dropping it like 3 inches to accomidate the fan and filter. Paint it up, wait for it to dry and start her up and see what temps and Humidity levels Im looking at. If everything looks good Im gonna move ahead, maybe add a shelf or 2 for seedlings or germinating. and Im putting a power strip on 3 walls so I can plug in those plug in light fixtures for some side lighting, Im just putting some screws going up about 2 ft 6 inches apart, just 2 side by side every six inches so the power strips will just push on them and slide locked being the power strips have that 2 hole thing on the back of them, this way I figure it easy just to raise the power stripps as needed and move lights around where needed by just plugging into one of the 6 outlets on the strip....LOL or I may not have enough room and never fit side lighting.
