I'm not s coco grower and it's still really hard to see coloration on leaves in pics you posted. I'm wondering if they were under watered? Coco I think dries out quick and your original photo shows leaves curling down and you mentioned you waited days between waterings.

Would you suggest to start fresh and what soil works best with autos

Again I'm not an expert in coco but if it were me I'd probably start watering them or at least one of them to see if it starts getting better. You don't want to start again until you at least figure out what went wrong this time so you don't make same mistake again and end up in same place

No idea about helping with coco...but I can give ya something to compare to...these are two autos in 2 ltr pots of bio bizz light mix...Broke soil 9-25 so 17 days old...di water only...under 100w T5HO. Had just topped the taller one.

I do not need to see the color to know they are starving to death. Coco has no nutrients and you should be fertigating from day 1 and every time you water called fertigation when the water has nutrients in it. Coco is a form of hydroponics and you really need to study about using the media before you start.

Was your coco washed and precharged with Cal-Mag? if not you might as well start over. There will be too much sodium in the coco and not enough Cal-Mag. If you try to add it now it will just lock-out the plant from other nutrients. If it was washed and pre-charged then get some good balanced fertigation going ASAP.

The idea behind coco is a substrate that you cannot over-water. It simply drains out the bottom pulling air into the roots. This allows you to fertigate several times a day presenting fresh in balance nutrients to the roots all day. Do not fertigate sooner than two hours after lights on or after two hours before lights out. During the night the roots will be exuding substances to feed the microbes so they will produce more nutrients the plant is looking for. If you fertigate too soon after the lights come on the plant will not have a chance to take in the nutrients the microbes made before you wash them out. Then at night the plants do not like to go to bed with wet feet . Just because it is hydro does not mean it does not have a rhizosphere it does. Always fertigate to 15% run-off every day in coco. Don't let the pot sit in that drainage remove it to waste (feed your outdoor plants with it).
