I agree bro. I remember talking to you about this a few months ago. My last grow had low RH from start to finish, was normally 35-45%. And all my girls came out very frosty. Well noted Mate.

Good to hear that worked out well bro.... Mine start at a low RH which in my opinion does seem to make Veg a little slower for the first few weeks, but they seem to catch up....
Ok now got that Low RH... Do you want to know how to make them a little Frostier???....

Torture.... Yup you read it right... Torture a dearly departed friend(Mostly Crazy his User name)told me years ago, that when they are in there last couple of weeks you can go all Nasty on them....
Like sticking Drawing Pins in there Trunk, Stripping Bark of the Trunk, twisting the Branches and Buds, Messing with the Lighting hours and lastly leaving the lights O for the last 2 to 3 days...
That all works to raise the Trich production as well.... It stresses them out big time which in turn make them push out the last few Trichs because they think they are dying and want to protect the Seed Pods.....

Its something that i Always did on my Photo grows but havent done that much torture on my Auto grows.... Im happy the way it is atm, but if i couldnt keep my RH as low as i wanted.... Than i would you it All the time... Because i know it works......

Wow yea that good info..I have herd of this before ..roughing them up.I was told about roughing up the leafs themselves and stems ant stalks.but I wasnt sure what it would do to an auto but the frostiest plant i had was damaged and crushed at around week 5 or 6 then just took off in growth and got frosty lol

Ill have do do some test..put one on the torture rack lst 2 and torture 1.more great info to add to the book.:Cushty:

Well well.. Y'know it always bothered me that I wasn't paying enough attention to this thread N.W's.. (Was always subbed like) But y'know what I'm glad I ignored it for so long (not intentionally mate.. Life has just been nutz lately) "why would you be glad you ignored it Kush" I hear you all cry.. Well coz I've just sat & read the whole thing from 4/20.. Wow mate that was a Feckin awesome read.. Watching your AX's finish off & watching the BAM's thru their whole life cycle in one read..
Incredible stuff Neil.. Absolutely top drawer growing.. There can be no denying that you are a Top Cat in the world of AFN my friend.. Those buds... Every single one of them looks so superb.. I'm kinda lost for words here.. The words I'm writing here just arn't satisfyingly describing how Feckin show stopping this thread was to read in one frosty assed bite!! Killer skills on show in here brother.. Y'know Tang was right when he said way back when "that you are one of his fav growers" coz your now definitely now one of mine.. That was :Cushty: from start to finish.. Just beezer..

Torturing them..lol Iv heard this before but I thought it was an old hippy trick? LOL I can see you point though as iv read that stress does increase trichome production. Iv done the 2-3 day darkness like you said bro and it work great for me :High 5:

Hello Stranger...lol.. Mate i know ware your coming from on the work thing. life in general always get in the way of the fun stuff....But we do the best we can....

I just enjoy growing and like Mr Tang enjoy helping where i can.... I admire anybody who gets this wonder plant to a finish...

Yeah its not something new, but its something that not many growers do... You got this beautiful looking plant, then you got to start to stab, cut a twist it about....lol..

Longer dark time would induce more stress on them yes.... I cant really see the point of 24hrs...

What i will add is that i dont go past 3 days.... Only did that once on Barneys Farm.. Blue Cheese and they all pop nanners......
