Have you got the cover on your box with lights inside or cover off and lights hanging over top? I posted at the beginning of your grow if cover on get yourself a 6" inline duct fan at HD for $30 and pop a 6" passive intake hole in side/bottom of your box.It should keep your temps at 80f steady with good air movement. I had the same trouble your having using computer fans and 7 26w cfls until i switched to the 6" duct fan.Mr. Piggy is right-those t5's are gonna heat you right back up again-i have an 8 bank set in my other growcloset and they heat up that small space.

Ill definitely get some 6" ducting and an inline fan and get some more airflow to the area. The top of the box is kinda on but once i get the new light I'm taking the top off the rubbermaid and mounting the lights from the beams on top of the box. One of the plants bounced back but the other is gone... Im waiting for some new seeds to come in, Shortstuff- Dr. Feelgood and Blue himilaya, anyone know about these strains and which one would be the easiest for my dumb, ADD ass to grow? lol! Thanks for all the tips though, i probably would've never even gotten started growing if it weren't for this forum

If your going to take the top of the box off when your new light comes don't bother getting the 6" inline duct fan i suggested as ita probably not gona work for ya.It works great when the box is covered or clamshelled.

Ok, ill just put my other 120mm computer fan in the wall blowing into a random room in my basement to keep the heat down, its been pretty low heat recently with a constant 73degrees thank god! I decided to rip out one of the plants because it was too far gone but ill be planting blue himalaya when it arrives.

Allright, seeds didn't come in yet but I'll put up new pics... The one survivor is thriving! She totally recovered from the mishap last week and has been growing ridiculously fast under one T5ho, and one t8... can't wait to see how she does under my new lights! I received my new 4 bulb T5 fixture!! I threw up some pics of it along with some pics of the survivor!

Nice getting. I have HTG pl-55 4 tube Tek lamp setup coming my way. They're in the T5 section but they're technically cfls. Supposed to be great. I have heard that pretty much all of their T5 stuff is good. great prices and they offer good warrantys so they know their products hold up.

Yea i love my new light, its not exactly sturdy but you can't beat it for 80 bucks...
Also another pic update! She's growing like crazy, and from looking at other threads I'm thinking she's speed devil #2 but i could be totally wrong. But check out the new pics!!!

Thanks! Quick question, I'm currently helping my close friend set up his grow in his attic. Were planning on making a grow box big enough for 2-3 large autos (about 5ft tall, 3ft wide, and 2ft deep?) and were trying to figure out what light we should buy. Its between the HTGsupply: 150w hps, 250w hps, or 400w hps. I figure we could use as much light as possible but i don't know if we could possibly control the temperature of a box with a 400w hps in it with a single window A/C unit and a 6" duct fan... Anyone wanna throw some advice my way on which light we should get for our situation or how we could control the high temps? Thanks guys!
