Thanks alot for the link, thats a good price for a nice cfl, ill definately invest in one of those when i get the money! Ill do a pic update as soon as i can.
Quick question! Im going on a trip from friday night to sunday afternoon... do you guys think i need someone to come to my house and water these guys? or will they be ok for that time? I was thinking of setting up a slow drip while im gone but i wont be able to make sure its not overwatering them.. Thanks for any input!

As promised, Heres another PIC UPDATE!! They're looking very good!! Its crazy how fast they grow! Its been about 5 days since they sprouted and they're already a nice size (relative to a non-auto) so check out the pics of them!

Also i put up some pics of the new spot i put these guys. I moved them from my closet so when they're bigger i have a little more vertical space when i transfer these guys to bigger pots. I plan on taking the top off the container and hanging my T5, and a new Hydrofarm CFL (that muddy posted here), to the beams above the grow box! Thanks for that link btw i don't know how I've never seen this site!

You can easily tell the difference between the 2 plants, one is a little smaller, but has a straighter stem, and rounder edges. The bigger one has a bent stem, and has more pointy edges. I used my finger for size comparison. Maybe someone who has grown snowryder or speed devil #2 can tell the difference or maybe the sharpness of the ridges is just a genetic thing. Who cares? Just enjoy the pics! :D :toke:

You're seedlings look great. Once they get a little bigger you should be able to tell the two strains apart. At this point they all tend to look similar.

I think your plants will be okay over the weekend. Just water them good before you leave.

Thanks! i finally transferred these guys to their 8" pots, i couldn't find premix anywhere near me, so i just got some soil made of spagous peat moss and perilite...
Im going to order a 125w cfl light but I'm not sure what spectrum to get... should i get 2700k since auto's go into flowering quickly or would a 6500k work better for the whole grow? I'm gonna keep the t5 fluorescent in the box when i get the CFL. Let me know whats better i want to order a light ASAP!! Ill do a pic update if i get a chance before i leave today!!

I may not be the best person to ask as I only use a couple CFLs to supplement my MH veg light. But I would say the 2700s. If you've got the money you could buy both bulbs and switch between veg and flower.

In the bigger pots those plants will certainly be fine while you're gone.

Ok awesome i hope they do fine... Muddy, you have a 240w backstair Led light right? My friend i talk about in the other thread wants to get one but were not sure which one to get, the veg one or the flowering one? hope you can help me out!! Thanks

Yes, I have two of them in one area. Get the flowering one.

Allright thanks!! Ill do a pic update when I'm home tomorrow!

Help me out!! plants are dieting after 1.5day trip, and transfer to new pots and soil!

HELP!! i came back from my trip, and both plants look like shit! one is completely sideways and the leaves are folded in, the other's leaves are drooping to the ground! i have no idea what happened!! I was gone from friday until 6pm today, sunday. please let me know if its even possible to save them... The things i did on friday were transplant these guys to the bigger pots with new sphagous peat moss soil, and i watered them a lot. i got a thermometer and the daily high is 92 the low is 86... Please let me know if i can do anything to save them!! Thanks! :crying:
