But to some purdy Mephisto females. New guy here. Think I posted my intro in the wrong forum and mentioned I’d try and start a journal. Here goes...

Plopped Grapey Walter, blue toof special and sour crack in rapid rooters last Sunday. 3.5 days to shed the shell and show me some green. Seemed like forever. Like waiting on newborn. Well they were born. Yippee!! FYI...soaked rapid rooters in Medina Plus. It’s a soil activator with seaweed. When I transplanted into their new 5 gal homes, I made a 2 gal batch of the stuff and divided it among the 3 pots. It’s my go to source to wake up my outdoor soil critters in my food garden and flower beds. Giving it a try indoors.

Update Nov 18...light watering and happy to report they look healthy and happy in their new home. They’ll get another 2 gallon Medina Plus dose Nov 23. As of today Nov 18, temps lights on 73-77f, off upper 60f and RH 45-57%. Dehumidifier is a huge help too. Thinking of adding nematodes for gnats just in case. Thoughts? I’ve seen none and methodical in my entry to grow room. Sterile as I can get it.

Pics from Nov 16. When the girls get a little bigger I’ll be back with an update.

They’ll live under Single 315w CMH.... Temps up to 80 lights on lights off around 73/75. Bumping ac down about 3 degrees next. Humidity 60 lights off and around 50 with lights on. Coldest night yet and not running heater. Fan, dehumid and ac helping....and my insulation job is working as it should. I am looking forward to switching to autocobs when temps get brutal. The CMH fixture acts like a heater...great now but will not work out for summer grow.

Thanks again to the Mephisto crew. I’ll be repeat customer fo sho!!!

Arrived to a dead 4k CMH bulb. Replaced with my 3k and they appear to have taken it in stride. While the light was out, they got an extra 3 to 4 hours of extra darkness and I’m sure some extra root growth. Running 18/6....

4K Phillips lasted a whopping 215 hours. Getting my refund in order.

You AFN folks know any great source for 315w CMH bulbs? Hit or miss with Amazon per the comments I read.
