Ok need some direction on temps/humidity levels. No pics til tonight...girls are looking lovely and GW was snipped last night at 4th node-she’s going to be my favorite I think and the form I’m used to seeing in my former outdoor times. SC is going to be a small thick bush - never seen leaves wide like hers, BT is healthy looking but smallest of the three...

Struggling to keep humidity levels up with lights on. CMH is zapping moisture and worse when AC window unit kicks on. Lights off things level out.

Schedule: 18/6 since seedlings
Lights on: 6pm-12pm
Temp 78-87f
Humidity 30-60...low ranges on both are when AC kicks on. 5 gallon bucket of water in corner helps very little. May put one more or by a stinking humidifier! Thoughts??

Lights off: 12p-6p
Temps 72-78f
Humidity 60s-70s

Feedback and direction welcome.

Thanks for the reply Archie!! Appreciate your input. And yes sir normally during summer it IS the hottest. Odd cold winter so far so settled on that time frame. Will do the opposite in summer. Guess I’m worried for nothing on humidity for now. Already have my dehumid on standby when they go to flowering.

Day 23 and walk into a freshness that hit my nose I haven’t smelled in many moons...that grassy smell. It’s like that fresh cut lawn smell, but better. Sour crack is the smelliest little girl for being so young. Sign of things to come with her? Hmm. Topped Grapey Walter last night. Recovering great. Giving her another day to recover then minimal lst. Never lst’d before so wish me luck. Nothing to report on blue toof.

@archie gemmill thank you for your feedback too.

sorry had to ask,i do the same but low temps is my concern.my cupboard bounces around 40-65%.some of the high altitude guys hr never gets over 35% dont seem to hold them back much.even though in theory seedlings 70% veg 60% flower 50% or something like that according to the books.mold/budrot is a worry late in flower 70%+ extraction stays on lights off ?maybe an extra oscillating fan for lights off would help.
keep er lit.

Day 24: After topping her the other day, I opened up GW even more. Once I got over my nervousness of breaking something, I went head first into the lst abyss. She took it in stride as the pics indicate. Pics are approximately 10 hours apart. Not sure I’ll attempt BT or SC as their really short and stocky when compared to GW’s structure. May let them be themselves and see what happens.

Side note: seeing more gnats. I let soil dry between watering so they’re not plentiful. But annoying. I have nematodes on the way to knock down the existing population. Diatomaceous earth/sand on stand by after treatment.

Thanks to the posts from you lst gurus here on AFN. I learned and applied what I learned. And special thanks @Tyler_Durden88 for direction on using romex.

Looking good. The romex works great bc you can bend it anyway you want and its strong enough to hold the shape. Im doing a side by side right now trying regular LST vs. Toping and Main lining and so far I think the LST is doing better. Heres my seedling tent right now im gonna start training them this week.

Oh and I forgot for the pests I use Safer Brand End All spray I had a bad aphid infestation. After making dawn soap spray and other DIY recipes nothing seemed to work so I went on amazon and bought it and first spray killed almost eveything I was blown away at how effective it was and its organic and didnt hurt my plants at all.

Day 28. Having a hard time staying out of the room and have been finding excuses to enter! Must lst...!!sour crack has been on my mind. She just had to be bent over for more exposure.

Second and third pics shows she was hiding some goodness under the big ole leaves.

My Grapey Walter is being kept flat/even followed by the slow pup blue toof.
