New Grower Here We go

Day 14

She drank all 8oz and is just a tad damp so later she will get another watering. And of course new growth.I have some negative pressure in the tent going with one of my bottom velcro windows on one side open just a tad.Filter seems to work as no smell coming out even on a very low setting.14 days old and she smells strong and good...nice.

Temps are being controlled best as can and will be dialed in more precise once she starts to take off.I can tell this tent will just barely cut it height wise and has me thinking of trying 1 gallon pots or possibly smaller(?) in my next grow and additional lighting if needed. So many choices.....

Consider doing some LST and or topping to keep the plant bushier and shorter.
I agree about the pot size, I’m going down to a 3 gallon next run.

Will do.Yeah I'd like to do(with added light)smaller like 3-4 plants and pull a couple oz's off of 'em.Maybe like lowryder type strains if possible.

Light off and using a flashlight I noticed two small spider webs on the top of my light on the ratchets. So looking around especially on the floor it is pretty dusty so yanked it all out and wiped down with a damp cloth and rerouted my light cord out the side vent and made a block type of thing with small pieces of a pool noodle I had laying around.I cut them and cut a slot in them and cinched down the vents with them in place to take up any gaps of anything getting in and since they are soft squishy the vents clamp down around them tight.

Looks like what made the webs came in from the high back cord vent.

Day 15 and she is a little bigger but the main growth was in height from when I watered her last night and woke up today.A good inch.I can see her stem and quite a bit thicker too. Will water her later when she is dry again. At the moment 8oz seems good as she drinks that up in a day but 10oz will have her not needing water for 3 days.Same setup with 6 inch fan on floor pointed at door so she gets a little movement but no whiplash from the breeze.

I gotta get an adapter for the tent pole to attach the fan to or rig it from the very top bars(cross bars) when that time comes and my 7 inch fan will take over for the bottom of the tent.Light is rigged so it will be all the way up when that time comes as all I have to do is move my light a couple of inches forward so it will clear my filter and i'll maximum space. But I knew this before I bought the kit as I just needed something to grow until I can buy bigger.I just didn't want to start off with a 3 foot tent or so which really isn't practical(at least for me) so the size is cool.

I replied and gave my factual statement and was still called out and then they contradicted themselves. Then I ended up having to add them to an ignore list.See?That is what I mean..someone with a lot of grows and calls me out on a first grow and is less intelligent... a huge thanks to all who have helped...

So yeah.Thank you to everyone who has helped.I may cry like a bitch at times but bro science and so called family on forums at least for me doesn't mix.(high school drama)I am gonna dial in my grows and go from there.....I do not do drama....and as said ''I don't chase I replace.''

Best of luck @Zeromitch

So I am out.

I hope you're not talking about me? Unless I've missed something. Regardless, I think you're doing a great job. Best you can do is ignore people who bother you and just keep trucking.

@DONTON - Aye, hang on a minute. It's easy to get upset over the internet. Sometimes intention, intonation, and a little wink wink is missing and things come off not as intended. There's lots of pros and beginners and the whole spectrum on here. Sometimes advice comes off wrong so don't be too quick to jump. You work in a cultivation center don't you? I bet you've got some real experts you can speak with and pick their brains. What a cool, neat, and unique advantage you have!

Do your grow your way. If it comes out slamming? Great! Show em' when ya out-grow em! If it goes bad? Well, revise, replant, regrow, and adjust where needed. I've only been on here just over a year and I hadn't a clue at the start. I'm sure I gave bad advice somewhere along the way. Plus, I don't partake. So I've really got no experience to fall on. Shoot, I'm only on my 6th? 7th? plant ever.

I got some tough love from a couple guys on here. It made me better in the end but it's hard to hear sometimes. Hope that's not the case for you. Growing is supposed to be fun. A hobby. Something outside the normal day we keep for ourselves. A time to unwind, care for your plant(s), and relax. I know for some this is a business but I hope if it's your hobby it stays a fun release for you.

Well, that's enough rambling from an old man. I just hate to see people stressed over something that is supposed to be a stress reliever.
