New Grower My first grow

I am going to mix up some new water for the 3 bigger ones as they must be thirty

Should I be adding the bio-bloom now?

Also should I be adding the root juice all of time as well as the bio-grow?

I'm confused lol

I'd say keep an eye on them - if they were last watered saturday, they're at a size where i guess they may need watering again! I'm every 3-4 days at about your size!

Don't trouble yourself too much though

Sometimes they just wanna play games with you! ^_^

I personally would mix up a normal feed (no heavier than normal) and push enough through to get a decent bit of run off. I think it sometimes help "freshen" up the medium (I'd like to think it washes eome built up salts through)

Hey Jimmann, I have a little experience of Biobizz products, I would say some epsom salts and molasses is something to consider alongside the Grow and Bloom, you might do well to try and split the watering so you can water with feed once a week and water plain in-between. Like Blue said, try to get some run-off so you are getting fresh water to the bottom of the pot as that stuff can get stale and do you no favours. A tsp per gallon of esalts and molasses will really give your girls a lift and help stop any deficiencies creeping up.

I'd maybe add 1ml of grow and 1ml of bloom per litre at this point, see how they respond.

Honestly though, they look great my friend.

Thanks dude

So I should hold off on the bio-bloom / root juice and just add nutrients ?

  .. It's confusing to start with!! I use root stims a lot of the way through - but i'll see if i can find an official Biobizz root stim guide :)

Hold tight on the bio bloom.. it's not time yet. Following muddys guide, it would be best to wait for the vertical growth to stop before feeding the bloom nutes (you also need to continue the grow nutes with biobizz - iirc)

Sounds ike a Plan ... may be worth (just for peace of mind) taking a reading of the PH before watering and taking the first bit of run off and checking that PH. (we can come to a rough calculation of where your soil PH is sitting)

It's looking good though - case of the early jitters perhaps! :)

Thanks dude!

I will look into esalts and molasses today!

Ok, so add the grow / bloom / root juice ?

Thanks Blue!

Getting clarity now... so stressful lol

You can leave out the Bloom just when I used the grow schedule it said to add Bloom at 1ml per litre, I think they are designed to be used together and not very strong separate. That's just my personal experience but you can hold off though like Blue said and start adding when the vert growth stops, they don't look to be deficient in any way at the moment.

Make sure you get un-sulphered molasses, Grandma's is a good brand.

Stay calm Jim - Your plants will appreciate it! :D

Post 4 of this thread has a good biobizz feed chart - it says only use root stims for the first week, so i'd probably stick with that!

Looking at the schedule - what i "thought' and what it "says" are 2 different things >.<

I would follow the chart as it's been designed for autos and used with success.
Be carefull to be aware of which soil the feed is recommended for - the top line (lesser amount of nutes) is biobizz allmix, and the one below is "lightmix'

Sorry i can't offer any better advice! But things are looking fine! :)

No, i'm with you dazed - follow the guide! :) You speak from personal (recent) experience where i bungled my way through with biobizz 4-5 years ago!
