I think maybe x3 4 gal next time, definitely plan to do some leaf tucking to get light to as many bud sites as possible.

Didn't plan to update again for a few days, but I'm starting to notice some potential problems.

Some of the leaves are canoeing upwards and showing dark green tips (some edges too) and the center is a lighter green (almost yellow) in some areas. This all occurs on the uppermost growth (top 2 sets of leaves from the main stem). None of the lower leaves and secondary growth have these symptoms, but some of the center veins are pale/yellow.

I'm 99% sure that it isn't heat stress, my tallest is 13-14" away from my MH.

For me to feel any discomfort I have to hold my hand within 6-8" of the glass for several minutes, my skin is VERY pale and extremely sensitive to light.

Temps are 77-79F
RH 48-50%
Last feed (day 19-yesterday) was around 600 PPM ph 6.0-6.1

6 ml Sensi Grow A+B - 5 ml B52 - 5 ml Sensizym - 5 ml Carboload - 5 ml Rhino Skin in 5L of water (1.2 ml/l for base nutes, 1ml/l for additives)

Every feed has been between 6.08 and 6.3, seems like it drops more as I up the amount of A+B per liter.

Each lady got about 1L

The plants do have a constant indirect breeze on them. Two hurricane fans (set to low) one on each side, pointing upwards and towards the WALLS. Plants are being rotated 180 degrees daily.

The breeze is strong enough to cause some fluttering in the leaves and sway the stem no more than 1-2mm

If I remember correctly, most of the new growth came in with slight discoloration and evened out later on. The cupping seemed to get better for a couple days, but now is worse than it was to begin with.

Edit: Posted a thread over in the infirmary section, and according to some of the pros there's no serious issue. Spaz mode disengaged.

Ok so, the first set of secondary growth on my biggest girl grew unevenly. One side stretched and is about 2/3 as long for some reason, it's basically grown right up underneath the next set of fan leaves. This is the only set of secondary growth on all of my plants that came in this way. The leaves on this branch are also drooping pretty hard, guessing because they're not getting any light and aren't growing strong enough to support their weight (it's being completely shadowed by the fan leaf).

Pretty much all of the other secondary growth on all of the plants is growing in fine and receiving at least some light.

So my question is, should I just leave it alone and let it do it's thing?

Should I bend the branch out to the side and tuck the fan leaf under it?

Also, on one of the other plants one of the cotyledons is withering up and dying, but only on one side? Not too concerned about this, but it seems weird that only one of them would shrivel up and die. Maybe some nute water got on it.

The pics aren't that great, but it's the first set of secondary growth on the left side starting from the bottom.

The last pic is showing the right side which is much shorter and looking healthy.

Good job man I kept my dedoverde haze auto in a small small pot 2weeks into flowering i transplanted it into bigger pot an it exploded into growth kinda reminded me of a joint doctor plant in the end small but phatty colas

Figure by the way it grew has potential to be big

From what I was reading they have the potential to reach 5' under the right conditions... Guessing most of my girls will end up in the 1.5-2.5' range with how they've been growing.

My only issue right now is that some of the bottom secondary growth isn't getting any light... I don't think leaf tucking is even going to be possible with how some of the nodes are spaced.

So I'm thinking about just chopping some of the bottom most secondary growth so the plants aren't wasting energy on it, not sure if this could have any adverse effects.

Not sure about the trimming bro but those plants look fantastic.. keep it goin ;)

Thanks mang, I've heard of people removing the two lowest secondary branches/bud sites so the energy can be used elsewhere. I'm thinking this would be my best bet, that lower growth isn't look too promising from where I'm standing, but don't want to cause any unnecessary stress.

There's only one plant I feel that really needs it, so I might try it just to see what happens. She's the tallest (almost 1' on day 21) and it seems she stretched so fast that the lower growth got left in the dust.

"With stationary lighting, the only wavelengths that can penetrate dense leaves is from the far red end of the spectrum. This far red light does not assist photosynthesis, but triggers internal plant hormones called gibberellins. These gibberellins then cause the plants to stretch and create longer internodal spacing. The lower, shaded shoots usually do not amount to much, but may draw a tremendous amount of the plant’s energy stretching towards the light. For indoor gardens, use selective pruning to maximize yield and redirect plant energy to more productive zones."
