I'm jealous of your light, I'm making due with 2 $65 leds, total of like 210w but with no dimmer it gets annoying changing height which I'm running low on because my tent is kinda short.

You are doing fine, just remember under watering is better than over watering, there might be more water in that soil than you think and those roots will find it. As your 1st grow you will learn from this and next grow you will laugh at this part.

I say do what you think is best, you have more seeds and I doubt you will mess this up :smoking:
Don't fret, did my 1st grow with 2 x ts600 , 90 watts each, turned a good amount of bud for what they are.

Oh yeah, I'm very much in experiment-and-learn mode. And I think I've been erring on the under-watering side of things. I think Violet looks really healthy so I'm gonna just keep things going and see how she develops.

I see Mars-Hydro suggests 50-75% during the seedling stage, so i think I'll turn the dimmer up to 50% today. Could be a bit bright if the Widows pop, but I should be able to adjust that side up a bit to manage that. For now I'll cater to the one that is actually growing. :)

I'm not fretting and definitely feel like I'm doing fine so far! :smoking:

I agree they put out great light for what they are but a dimmer would be nice. While I was shopping for a light I thought a dimmer was just added cost I didn't need and its true i guess but the quality of life is worth it now that I'm putting in the work.

Shoestring budget with crappy soil mixed with some happy frog.
I probably have some better equipment than a newb should, between my light and my Cloudline T4, but before I decided to tent grow I had ordered a pricey pre-made cabinet (The Armoire by Green Goddess). While it was on back-order I dove down the growing rabbit hole and decided I'd much rather tent grow. (Good decision for sure. No offense to that cabinet system, it's just not for me.) So I canceled that order, and my current setup was significantly cheaper than what I had already committed to. That's how I justified the expense of getting good stuff!

Last time I grew I upgraded everything so quickly. This time I’m much more chilled starting over. Only have a sixty by sixty cm tent and one VS p600(95w). It’ll still be enough to grow me some smoke. Happy days

I’m in the same boat. Last two times I was rushed. Now I have taken my time and gotten all the right stuff. Lol 10k later and I’m almost there! But to be fair the LAG system is gonna be a game changer.

@indicalla you are doin great, probably the hardest thing to get down at the beginning is the watering. You look like you are doin well though! You have what it takes to be a successful grower for sure.

you seem dedicated, pay attention to detail and most of all you seem to be in love with the “process”

It is a common theme in the highest level athletes. From MJ to Kobe to Tiger to even Floyd mayweather. They all loved PRACTICE! Each of them and many many many others loved the process of getting better.

The workouts, the training, the diet, the dedication, all the hard stuff and at the end the result was them being great.

I view growing the same way. If you want great end results you have to love the hard stuff. The worrying(am I doing this right?)the studying, the spending of money, the time spent watching tiny plants grow. If you look forward to all of this type of stuff then you will be rewarded with a great end result.

I can tell that you seem to be the type to love every second and if I had to guess one of the first things you think about and do every day is plant related, it’s also probably one of the last things you think of at night before goin to sleep.

Well done so far and keep it up. You have lots of great experience here in your thread already but if you need anything don’t hesitate to ask and tag, stop by my LAG thread and post or send a dm. I am on here at least a few hours a day.

I’ve spent the last 2 days digging a ventilation trench for my LAG and it just about killed me and my step dad. But with every shovel full I knew I was one step closer to achieving an almost 10 year long dream. Stay dedicated even when things don’t go according to our, so well thought out, plans LOL. And you will be doin this growing of the pot things for a long long time. Needless to say I am subbed up to watch you and your ladies blossom!

Epic post! Thanks for stopping by and taking the time.

You're right -- once I decided to do this, I started to fall in love with it and think about the process a lot. My other hobbies are motorcycling and fly fishing, and I love both, but this is something I can pursue a bit every day. Really fun.

Can't wait to wade through your journals!
