New Grower My first grow! Berry Ryder@ week 6.5 - Day 41 and counting!

Day 60 and counting !

Day 60 has arrived, and things are moving along!

Over the last 5 days both plants are showing a very slight burn or browning of the tips of the leaves. I didn't use any nutes on the small girl last round, so i don't think it's bloom burn. I watered with plain PH this week and runoff seems ok in the high 5's to low 6's. It's made it up to the top leaves now too, so maybe they are just starting to turn ?? I had intended to hit both girls up one last time with Tiger Bloom tomorrow, but maybe i'll just use molasses and water from now on. Any suggestions? This pic prolly looks like crap here, the purple is the LED light.

Anyhow, some pics of the girls at day 60. These girls are secreting some awesome bud juice, this stuff wreaks of just pure skunky heavy dankness.

Whooosh!

Excellent plants. Yellow tips are common. If I remember correctly just slight burn showing on tips.

No yellowing showing on lower fans. Plants are a picture of health and the trichs.

It is really up to you. Your plants could go molasses and water and then just water for a few weeks or more--forcing the plants to start using all their internal energy and begin the final maturing (yellowing) process. :brow:

If you feed they will continue to grow and you can extend the harvest some.

Just my thought.

Great grow. You have a green thump.

BTY--looking forward to your harvest.

Day 67 !

Hey Alan, thanks for your comments. You are correct with the leaf tips browning, every single Berry Ryder grow log I can find had this issue, and doesnt seem to be a problem unless growers are maxing out the nutes that week. It seems to have stopped on me altogether, but at the cost of lack of tiger bloom for the last 10 days or so. I also went ahead and started adding 1tsp molasses/gallon in the last week.

So the plants are still looking quite healthy and green... is the basic idea here to just keep pumping them full of bloom nutes until the leaves start to turn? I had expected them to sorta start to turn by now, but meh. Maybe i'll give em one last dose of bloom nutes.

So here's some day 67 pics of the goils. Both are still adding bud, but i think I've been underwatering the taller girl and as a result she's not really filling out as much as I'd like to see. The small girl's buds are really dense now and she's still adding bits of bud.

So here are this weeks update pics of Plant 'B': If anything, i'm really enjoying the macro setting with flash in my closet :p

That's about it for from day 67 for now.... will keep the updates flowing

Looking very nice man - were you planning on flushing that any time soon?

Thanks man,

Yes I am starting the 'cleanse' today, day 70, with just water and a bit of molasses. Had a nice email chat with Auto Seeds Company guy today too to discuss the trichs and leaves. He mentioned darkening the plant for up to 72 hours, which i posted about in another thread.

Excellent plan. Healthy plants. Your LED is doing a great job. Have not seen a yellow one. Though the configuration looks a lot like the BlackStar. I bet most are made by the same manufacture.

A goat (or is it a lamb) on ones back ---- is better than a monkey on ones back. :D

Nice man I just cut mine. I got almost 3 oz of of her. Yours looks super tight and thick. Im sure you can go for a while longer and she will pump out even more.
When I did cut mine it was very yellowed and lost a ton of leaves.

Hey man, thanks for the comments. How long did you go exactly? I'm on day 73 now and there isn't much in the way of leaf yellowing, in fact the stunted gal indeed continues to pack on bits and pieces bud and new pistols. Also, what you can't see in my pics is the real frostyness of the full size gal. It's almost like a wet salt or sugar buildup when i stare at it up close for a while. Or like a frosted flake from a few feet away. can see in a couple pics below.

In fact, here's some trich pics I took today via shitty loupe in front of shaky camera. The Amber trichs and the clear trichs are easy to see. The pain in the ass is figuring out if those others are milky or if they just have light shining off them oddly.

Absolute top of Plant 'B':

Lot's of amber i think. Time to chop or wait on yellow leaves?

I would say chop, but only on areas that are amber. I think some of your areas would still be clear and cloudy.
