Indoor My First grow: AutoBlueberry!

So it's been a while since my last post, not much going on so no need really to post stuff. Until a couple of days ago at least! Like two weeks ago (when she started flowering maybe?) the lower leaves started to yellow really vaguely, but yesterday I noticed some were so yellow and dried out that I could pull them off with no force at all.. Here's a picture what it looked like a couple of days back:

The leave you see on the right, and the lower one left have also been removed yesterday, because they were dried out completely. Also the bigger leave (the one left, in the middle) is starting to turn yellow.

This is happening on two of the three plants, one which is in a better condition with no leaves removed (yet). I looked up what it could be, and found out in some comments it could be a Magnesium related issue. I also found this table:

Someone also gave the advice of increasing Grow nutrients (using Bio-Bizz) if this started to happen, but other than that I should get simple nutrients for plants which contain lots of the stuff from the table?

Sooo my main question is: Does anyone know another cause of the yellowing, or another solution? It's slowly increasing and I want to stop it as soon as possible!

I'll update this thread with some nice pictures a bit later!

If the plants are looking as healthy as your last pics, I'd be inclined to say that that yellowing of the very bottom leaves is just normal. They're always the first to go. The leaves above them look nice and green.

Thanks, but sadly they don't really look as healthy as the last pics anymore. If it's not also normal for the middle, bigger leaves, to start yellowing around this stage as well. Here are some more pictures, from today:

Do you still think it's normal for the bigger leaves to turn yellow as well at this stage (48 days)? It feels so early to me... Note that one of the plants is still completely green and healthy looking, which is also 48 days old.

Here's a picture I found in the awesome 'Self Diagnose Your Plants' thread, which looks a lot like my leaves:

Non relevant to this issue: Here's a high resolution of one of the plants, which also shows some buds: LINK

I'm using Bio-Bizz Bloom and Grow, respectively 1/4ml and 1/2ml per litre.

You have up'd this, right? You should be up around 3 - 4 ml / l now, right? They look like they want some more Bio Grow.

Yes, I've definitely up'd it, but not as close as you're advising. I've read that around this time I was supposed to use like 1 ml Grow and 2 ml Bloom per litre, which I even misread and mixed it down with 2 litres of water instead. Feeling kinda stupid at the moment... I'm going to raise the nutes so that by the end of the week they get 3 ml Grow and 3 ml Bloom, after which (when the yellowing has stopped) I'll raise the Bloom up to 4 ml per litre for the couple of upcoming weeks.

Shit, reading your comment was kind of an 'Oh shit.." moment. I think I was too careful not overfeeding them, but instead underfed them. I'll post some more pictures the upcoming days, I feel like it's the nutes indeed.

The Bio Bizz line is potent, but smooth and mellow. If your pH is cool and everything is healthy and clean, you'd have to be very wasteful with the stuff to burn your plants with it. But your caution is fully understandable. Sometimes the wisdom "Less is More" just doesn't cut it, even if it's a good bit of wisdom.
I hope we're right here and that after you've up'd things your plants' happiness will ease your mind.

Yup, definitely true about the Less is More thing. The beauty of things like this is that my next grow I'll know better!

Haha well said, that would be an ease to my mind indeed. I'll keep you posted!

Well, I was planning on posting some more pictures over the last week, but nothing much has happened. The buds have fattened and some more big leaves have fallen off after becoming yellow (not brown or completely withered, they did a little bit though).

I'm not too sure when I should start flushing though, I've read people start flushing from as long as 2 weeks before harvesting to 3-5 days.

Counting from the day they popped above the Grodan blocks I'm on day 59.
Counting from the day they germinated between the wet paper towels I'm on day 62.

Anyhow, I want to flush before I start harvesting, but I'm not too sure how I would go about this. Do I pour water double the amount of my pots all at once, or spread out over a few days?

Also I read about chopping/harvesting the plant in phases, from top to bottom, since some of the lower buds are still not as big as their top potential, so they can keep growing for like a week max before the complete plant is harvested. What are your thoughts on this method, and is there any more info on this available?

Thanks for all the help I've already received from you awesome guys, this has been one exiting ride already!

Can't wait to see how these finish up... So close now!!!
Any chance of a few more pics?
The rough dimensions of your plants (l x w x h)
Also how many branches have come off the main stem?

there is a lot to learn, but it sounds like you are enjoying it too. Try to judge the weight of the plant pot so that it is not being over-watered, the roots dont like that. And with plenty of light your plants will do well

take it easy
