They look awsome to me:pighug:

Hey man!
I dont wana get it out hehe, it look nice to me and even wish for more if it doesnt damage smoke in some way (taste, potency...)
:pass:

Thats what i meant. Cold brings on the purples and blues. Thats part of why i did the ice baths.

In some plants not all. also I believe high ph can help bring out colors too.. Its anthocyanins that determine if the bud changes color or not though. Not all buds will change colors though. I’ve flowered in 50 degree weather with no color changes on certain strains for example. While others will naturally turn purp. Some do need help turning though which is why cold temps or high ph (I believe) help bring out colors in some plants. anthocyanins also have anti inflammatory properties so colorful buds tend to have those benefits too.

:slap: Thanks for that nugget of information! I have arthritis, so this is valuable knowledge to me. Btw, I'm currently growing out some F1 crosses I made with Purple Mazar and Red Poison. Wish me luck! :headbang:

I put a few handfuls around the base of the plant and put an ice-mulch layer across the top after a watering with ice water. Butbill do the ice at the base 1 or 2 days then skip a day and do it again. Id likely do it more if i didnt have to buy bags of ice and store them in my freezer. Ice maker is broken.
@ledguy you are not wrong sir. i completely agree. I failed to properly word my original statement properly. I was speaking of my own experience with white widow. Though i may have had ph issues, i never tracked it.

And how you do ice baths? :)

Oh yeah I didn’t mean it like you were wrong or throwing shade or anything like that I just wanted to further explain the process and health benefits a tad is all.
