To take colouring a bit further....dont confuse genetic colours with colour changes cause by climate. I deal with cold all the time on photos that finish in the fall. Cold induced colour change is strongest on the leaves and fades the close they get to the core of the bud, and genetic colour will be strongest in the flower and often fade out as it gets onto leaf.

A coloured strains will go coloured in any climate...indoors i grow in 90F temps, and the purple strains are purple all right!! Nothing will stop awesome colours if its in the genetics!
