Normally id avoid that, but you are so close[emoji20] I might give it a try. Be careful and use clean peals or whatever. Watch the buds that contact the peels for mold.

They don't 'look' too dry but still feel a little crispy...

Looks mature the calyxes are all swollen. You will probably pull off a decent smoke. I've done the same thing before and been able to get a little bit more moisture back into buds using Boveda packs. At least you're going to get yourself some decent smoke.

Funny enough I ordered some boveda packs today! For now I have done the cotton bud trick to try add a little back
