Outdoor My first all auto outdoor grow

The same principles in photos apply to autos...just in a slightly lighter sense...i find i start a bit lighter with autos, and generally end up a bit lighter on the feeding than i would with majority of photos.
I'm not sure it directly applies, but my experience from indoor growing is the stronger my light, the more nutes either they need or they are able to take (as long as the temps are dialed in). So, with the really low amounts of warm sunny days, I've tended to go light with the nutes so far this season. None of them look like they have any deficiencies, I guess I don't know if they'd be bigger or frostier if I pushed more. But that's not what this grow is about, I'm trying to keep it simple and easy this time around.

The weather is still unusually cool and overcast, but things are moving along. Since these girls were started at different times, have different genetic grow times and reacted to the cold differently -- they are all over the map in terms of maturity. That'll be nice because it will spread out the harvest over a few weeks and I can focus on them one at a time.

So far the biggest/tallest/thickest base award goes to the Blueberry -- popped 7 weeks ago and hasn't started to flower yet

And here's a quick shot of the part of the garden where the girls are, they're coming along

It can be hard to find them in a picture, here's most of them pointed out
Edit: I just realized I wrote "Space Queen", it's actually Cosmic Queen

When people come over who don't know much about pot (and aren't that curious), I just tell them that they're "dwarf" plants, and that's why they won't get much bigger. If they have any real interest, I'll tell them as much as they want to know. It's kind of nice to have them mostly under waist height, no worries about people being able to see them growing above the fence.

So far the Alien v Triangle is the only one that looks like the photos I'm used to growing, the rest are just not frosting up at all (yet?). With most of the strains I have going now I've used up all the seeds I have, the only only ones I have more of (and at this point plan on getting even more of) are the Mephs, so I'm really looking forward to seeing comparatively how they do this winter indoors. That'll probably define my relationship with autos.

Started around 9 weeks ago, spent the first 30 days indoors... my one frosty girl.

Really some beautiful plants and man that is a beautiful space you have!! Great job all around!!

That garden is going to smell very nice if it already doesnt!
It's starting to, mostly we go around and sample the smells up close, but they are getting to the point where they find us.

Pictures from walking around the garden this morning...

The Blueberry grew over 7" in 6 days, it's over 4' tall now. In case it's not obvious, it's the big one in the middle  and it's finally starting to flower. Last year the Berry Ryder was huge and the Blueberry was smaller, this year it's reversed. I never know where (or how far apart) to plant them because there's no telling how big any particular seedling will get.

The AvT is so sticky it's picking up those fibrous seeds from local cottonwood trees. Couldn't resist throwing in a pic of an artichoke we let flower for the bees.

Looking at your garden makes me wish summer would hurry up and get here even more. Looking amazing

Thanks man. Sorry for the delayed reply, been too busy lately.

For some updates...

The Blueberry -- she's over 5' tall now. What a beast, she's shading out everything around her, I had no way of knowing she'd get this big (the one I grew last year was half this tall/wide). At least I now know that if I want to do this again next year, start 3-4 weeks later and put them further apart.

(that's a Blue Mammoth and a Mohan Ram in the foreground)

And this is the Sky Stomper, which I'm really enjoying growing. She's always praying and getting very frosty, I look forward to seeing how the colas fill out.

And the AvT colas are getting fat and frosty as ever. Might just be another week or two on this one

We got worms... I've got friends growing in this county whose plants have never had them, and I had none the first year I grew at this location. Each subsequent year they come back stronger. I think I'm going to have to stop growing outdoors until I can build a solid well screened greenhouse. I was hoping that since I started really early this year I might get the plants finished before the moth/worm cycle got going, but the cold spring weather kept the start slow. The one I've taken down does not have any visible worms, but chances are we'll be smoking eggs...

This is a Sky Stomper, and we had to cut off all of the tops of the biggest colas so that the worms would not work their way down the plants.

Oddly, they don't hit every plant, for whatever reason some attract them more than others. Two years ago they ravaged a Jillybean, had to throw the whole thing out, but they didn't touch a GG4 (what I don't know is; if the Jillybean hadn't been there, would they have gone for the GG4?). I'm afraid that the giant 5+foot tall Blueberry could be totally lost to them -- they love the tallest plants and the longer it takes to finish, the more eggs seem to get laid. I've tried BT and other sprays, so far nothing stops them.
